- This video gives you a detailed step by step guide for replacing your 2015-2016 CRV LX and SE stock reflector headlights with "Touring" model DRL projector headlights. This also applies to EX and EX-L models, except no wiring is necessary. I also convert them to LED at the same time. This project has a decent amount of steps to follow, but isn't that hard and really improves the look and function of your headlights. The parts I used are all listed below (Amazon Paid Links)

Awesome video, just did this myself. Quick tip for everyone else, pulling fuse #21 will turn off the oem halogen DRL making it strictly LED.

How long does the extender for your drill have to be?

Parking light, not turn signal. Two separate circuits.
A basic understanding of vehicle electronics is a must have for this project to be attempted.

Can I retrofit these projectors to my 2014 EX-L?

@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I saw that video and that’s exactly what I plan to do. Also do you know if there’s any way to retrofit a factory heated steering wheel to my car as well?
@@mds2465 I believe you can but it involves a lot of wiring. I've never done it. The wires are not there to do it so Honda used to sell a kit that includes all the harnesses and steering wheel.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I’m aware of that. I think that one or more of the master Honda technicians at my job might know what I would need to get in order to retrofit those features. I would also like to retrofit side view mirrors with auto dimming glass and winkers if possible as well
to Put headlights on Honda CRV 2016 you do not need to remove Bumpers nothing I did on mine heads and the other ones below whatever you call then

No. The DRL is the high beam headlight powered at a lower voltage. It is not a separate output.
Heaven forbid the headlight would need to be REPLACED for a burnt out LED.
