I went to Colombia last year with someone I don't talk to anymore. I thought my then friend and someone I had feelings for was going to show me her home country but instead she ditched me at her brother's house the day after we arrived for 5 days. She left me to go see someone she met online in Barranquilla.
Man, I was used and friend zoned hard.

High percentage speak English (given high education), you're highly likely to experience racism because they probably think you're an afro colombian. Bucaramanga has a huge amount of german settlers as well. Best city in Colombia, opposite of Medellin. Nightlife sucks, city has lowest unemployment rate In the country.
