Remember you can still eat a broccoli if it's blooming or wilted! I see too many people throw away yellowing broccoli from the store even though they taste still wonderful. The whole plant is edible!
Jacques, I think I may have wished you a Merry Christmas after an earlier video, but I love Christmas, so if I did, I'll say it again--may your Christmas be filled w/ great joy & the love of family & friends!
I have done this with broccoli, cabbage ( you get a bunch of little brussel sprout sized heads) and cauliflower :) also remember the leaves are eddible too!
Take a page from Birdseye and Blanch, lay out on a sheet pan and freeze for freshest long term storage, you can also can it but you will have the muted green broccoli.
Not to mention broccoli leaves are edible and taste just like broccoli. Harvest older leaves from the bottom up as desired (this may affect florets)
Yep, I can't grow a head of broccoli to save my life, but I can grow the plants to use for greens and I love them almost more than the florets lol
Most plants leaves taste like what they grow
Jhueheh😊
Thanks for not wasting my time like money of those UA-cam videos are doing. This was just the information I need it and nothing more thank you
I love adding the leaves to soups and stir-frys.

I'm in Zone 6a in NY and I still have broccoli side shoots popping up under the snow cover! ✌️💗🥦
Can we get some tips and tricks on how to *grow* Broccoli? I'd love to learn how!
Jacques,
This was great, but I need a video on when to harvest Brussels Sprouts. Thank you. 😊
Nice and clear… very helpful
Thx for the tip
I remember when I was little and we grew broccoli all the time. I would eat the little pieces of it as it grew and loved the flowers that grew on it

Great video, thank you for the assistance! Happy Holidays to you 😊
You're leaving a lot of broccoli on the table.
Strong words to live by.
He talks so fast that I didn't know wtf he was saying. It's annoying and gay!
Bro your awesome thank you!!!
I love growing broccoli 3yrs in row I love broccoli shoots
Also you can use the stems for broccoli soup and leave the flowery parts for another dish.
If you want the sideshoots to grow big, cut the stem closer to the ground. Leave about 3-6 leaves. This will make the shoots much bigger.
Great video, Can you do a video about storing broccoli after cut?

Trust me...I know what to do with all my broccoli. We eat broccoli every week, so I hope my garden provides enough to get us through winter 😊
I like broccoli best just after the flowers start opening. It seems to be sweetest then.
Any advice on how to keep iguanas from eating your produce.?
Me learning today that these open up into flowers??? 😂
As a broccoli hater i'm gonna say never.
But the growing process is fascinating. 😅
They look so cute!!!
I feel really dumb, I'm 42 years old, and I never realized that broccoli grew like that LOL
Wow, I didn't know this!
Great tips! ❤
Good job man that's how it's done
Loose and slightly past its prime? Who knew I’d identify so well with a vegetable!
Air fryer brocolli with a balsamic vinegar glaze, and some parmigiano reggiano sprinkle. Broccoli is the best thing ever❤
I saw brocoli plants at walmart nursery there was only 3 of the but i saw them
Thanks going to harvest 😊
I didn’t put my brassicas in until October. They are tall but some quite leggy. Should I give them some support by staking? No heads yet.
👍🏻👍🏻Im going to have to remember this since I cant save this reel 😁
I don't know why UA-cam won't let us save reels. It's so annoying.
I "share" the shorts with myself through text or email if I want to save them.
How do you keep it fresh once you harvest?
Ima need this plant for all that broccoli, oh lord ❤❤
Question. Alwats have origins with broccoli bolting to seed before heading up. Any tips?
I gotta plant some first
How do you deal with broccoli worms?
Do broccoli need a green house to plant ?
wooooowwwww I would actually love to see the broccie flowers
I love broccoli
Aren't you technically leaving a lot of broccoli off the table if harvesting early 🤔
Yesssss queennnnnn
2024 all bolting 😢
Oh I have a gutter mind ☺️
Off the Table*
Would it make sense to “top” the plant so that you don’t just get one large crown?
