I've driven one of these and I can confirm, this is one of the greatest cars of all time. It is just an insane driving experience and the sound is just orgasmic. It's like driving testosterone
I'm with you on this one. I driven one too mostly on mountain twisted road. I my daily car I can take some of those curve at 30 kph and at 40 and a hard time keeping it on the road. With the Performate i took those curve at 70 kph and I could see Performater could take more.
The style of these 3 amazing hosts of narration can never be mimicked in any show.
This vid is a prime example of why I like Hammond and May.

@Fire Heart well I mean do you think the big heavy turbo s will go around the Nurburgring faster? It's fast and has good handling but I don't think it can do sub 7 minutes let alone 6:52. It takes a great handling car to do that.

Saw one driving on Spa summer of 2019, I heard and saw it downshifting before going up eau rouge. Il never forget the backfire, it was being driven so hard.. such an amazing sound

I don't know if you know this news... but the show has completely changed format. All they are doing now is 90 minute beautifully produced car films once a year. The old "Top Gear" format has been dropped in favor of the films. They released 2 of them in the last year and because of Covid it will take longer to get the next one.
