Very interesting to watch as a non-American person. I'm Dutch and also have governmental support and am also studying at university. Student payment is much more, 466 (euros ofcourse) once a month, but everything else income wise is much lower. Disability money is 1364 for one month. I do get also a total of 500 euros to contribute to my rent (607 for a house) and healthcare (extended package without any deductible for 219) but that's all my income. And I have managed without the student payment as well. So to see you call almost 4000 dollars a month low income is very interesting! That would be the average household income here. So then I see you write 315 for health but after that also a lot of medical bills. That makes me grateful because in that 219 (without the money I get back each month) is everything, from mental health to medications, surgeries and having a nurse at home after surgeries. So different. As an American, would you like to have universal healthcare? Or what are you doubts?
I'm actually Australian and we have a universal health care system, this is the cost of having disabilities and the extra on top of free basic health care it cost
Very easy to follow , I like how simple your planning is.
