I like this because its a very rare alco rsd long nose 4 axil I've seen 6 axil RSd,s on gbw Wisconsin love the new state of the art emd and ge 4/ 6 axil sd-40-2 u36-c etc etc alco has always been very interesting love them all....
Hey AC enjoyed the video thanks for sticking with it so we could see how they put it back on track and the damage it did after they moved it pretty cool.
It's amazing to see 70 year old locomotive pulling in Revenue MI. Taking care of right locomotive steam or diesel last you forever. All Alco powered rail line in the 21st century who would think right?
They need to replace the ties and rails and move them further apart so there's clearance for two trains to run side by side and have space between them
When you speed it up the Norfolk Southern Train it looks just like the trains in Ho that run at work speed on our train layout. They derail like an HO train too. Just kidding.
Where was the large flat rail car with the enormous crane which could lift one end of the locomotive, and then the other end, and place it on the rails once again?
@@loganbaileysfunwithtrains606 Well as long as it had taken to re-rail the locomotives, without damaging more rails and ties, it should have been the plan of attack, but as I can view, it wasn't.
@@irish00011 moving a big crane and blocking NS right of way to hoist a couple of locomotives trucks back on the rails would’ve been very expensive more expensive than just replacing ties and doing repair work to the locomotives
When I see the word 'Derailment" my imagination triggers visions of tank cars on fire, engines in ditches, towns evacuated etc..... I guess those are the ones they call "Major Derailments".
I'm looking forward to watching part two. Excellent as always AC.
Thanks Hans. Probably tomorrow.
I have seen derailers all the time. This is the first time I have seen a RErailer. I see that it did the trick.
Indeed.
Ok AC EXCELLANT is that Loco a true CNJ FROM BACK IN THE DAY
It most certainly is!
Some days its not good to get out of bed. great video.
That's right!!.. Thanks David.

Hey AC

No problem, but there's still at least five more parts.
Well then hurry up and post it.

I bet a Lot of people would be Surprised to hear just how many Derailments happen every week across the US. 🤔
I wouldn't be. I know it's a lot.
I know a conductor who is always saying "keep my train off the ground".
I wonder if Delaware Lackawanna has thought of repainting some of their units back to their original liveries as heritage
Nice job using the rerailers. I was waiting to see the RJ Corman crew tbh
So was I.
Bad time for locos numbered 1554. Union Pacific 1554 also derailed in Colton, CA in March, but unfortunately is basically destroyed.

WOW THX AC New sub great video.iwill keep tuned for more thx for sharing.
De mis favoritas cuando mexico las tenía 🐊
A big hand should come down from the sky and re-rail the locomotive.
Hey, works on my railroad!!😆
Train derailments happen all the time there was one time a passenger train derailed in my hometown as it was going to New York
Interesting.
@@Trains21 yeah the car was a broken track that's why

Fantastic video my friend like and Greetings !!!
Thank you Walter.
This is an interesting video. How many locomotives were there next to the track? Greetings from Berlin/ Germany. Sven
Fantastic job and video.
Thanks John.
that was a long mixed manifest freight at 5 minutes
Great video Trains21!
Thanks!

They didn’t need a crane for this

Nice Coverage
Really cool video!
Thanks!
Where's part 2?
What cause the derailment? It looks like they ran a switch or the rails buckled.
How the Hell did this happen for all 4 to derail !! ?? : o
AC... is this going on now in March - April 2022 or is this from the past? Either way good video shooting.

Very true.
@@Trains21 It's only a minor one if you are not the engineer...
Why not just fix the track. What's their problem ?
Alco classics.....
👍 10:14
What’s up with those Alco’s why do they sound like crap and smoke so much?
That’s…what an alco sounds like, and Alcos smoke a lot
The joke about an ALCO was that Alco never quite got out of the business of building steam locomotives...
...they just built a diesel around it. 😆
They act and sound like a weed wipper that you might of put to much oil into the gas. Ha. Ha.
What railroad was the green boxcar at 5:56 from? I couldn't see the reporting marks
To answer your question IBT is a International Bridge and Terminal Company that boxcar came from.
Georgia Pacific
