Hi... please what will make Shito solid when stored in the fridge aside coconut oil and how do you correct that
Hello dear, sorry for the late reply
There are oils that do not solidify when put into a fridge but not a freezer .Example is canola oil and safflower oil. So to make your Shito not become hard you can use some of these oils to prepare.
Secondly Shito can be stored without been put in the fridge. When it cook very well and has a lot of oil on top, you can keep it for almost 6months without going bad. Also make sure you when you want to take a portion, you use a dry spoon to scoop and then clean inside so the remains doesn’t go bad and affect the whole bottle of shito. Please I hope I have been able to explain to your understanding?

And how will u know that there is moisture or water in your Shito right after preparing it and how do you correct it.....
@@emmaqueendokyi9859 when you scoop the shito seperates and not come together, that means is moisture free.and also the shito is not too light. I don’t know if this explains it well. So to make your shito not have too much moisture, make sure you use less water in blending your ingredients so most of the water can dry up in the cooking process.

Please can add the ginger with the onions and blend them together?
I advice that you blend the ginger separately because once it goes in and you don’t stir continuously, your Shito will get burnt and it will make it bitter. But if you can continuously stir from start to finish, then you can blend together with the onions but also remember onions take time for the water to evaporate so blending the ginger separately is the best. I hope I have been able to explain to you well💕

Is the fish powder supposed to be more than the shrimp powder pls ?
@@sylviatortsa4427 Yes dear, it suppose to be more than the shrimp powder because, shrimps has a strong flavor, salty and is so sweet. So when it over powers the fish powder, your shito will be too sweet. And fish powder also helps the Shito to be plenty.
