    8-10 Large Onions
    7-10 Shallots (Optional)But Highly Recommended
    2 cups - Chopped Ginger or To Taste
    12 - Habanero Peppers (Optional) But Highly Recommended
    20 - Garlic Cloves or To Taste
    1tbsp - Aniseed
    2tbsp - Rosemary
    Salt - To Taste
    All Purpose Seasoning - To Taste or Seasoning of choice
    Oil For Blending
    1cup - Herring Powder
    1cup - Shrimp Powder
    1cup - Grounded Chili Pepper or To Taste
    2 /6oz cans Tomato Paste (340g)
    1/2-1 Gallon oil
    ***Used Oil From Frying Fish, Meat or Chicken is Highly Recommended
    1cup - Coconut Oil (Optional) But Highly Recommended

    I'm South African and had a Ghanaian mom who used to package shito for me in containers like the ones in your video and my goodness! I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, she moved back to Ghana for ministry, having not shared her recipe with me! To this day, I miss her Jollof and Waakye stew 😅 thank you so so much for this ❤️❤️❤️

    I’m so glad I discovered this sause. I buy it from amazon cause it’s the only place I can find it. It’s become my favorite flavoring to add to things. The flavors are so universal. It goes really well with some Asian dishes and sauces.

    So, yesterday, I tried this recipe, adding fresh habenaro peppers to my shito. I added some leftover bell pepper as well to my blend and it turned super duper amazing💃💃. The flavours are mind blowing😘👌

    Since watching your videos I cook my tomatoes and vegetables until the oil comes to the top and it has made all the difference!! The flavors are so much better with the water cooked out. I only wish I'd learned this sooner! Thank you so much!❤

    It looks delicious and definitely very spicy, isn't it?? The one that makes it spicy is the habanero pepper , chili pepper. This is a recipe I just found out, I really like spicy food. Indonesian people love to eat spicy food, if it's not spicy it's like something's missing. Thank you for this wonderful recipe 👍

    Our Ghanaian boarding school saviour. Remember when my mum will spend all her last cent to prepare proper shito for me to take to boarding house. It lasted 3months most of time because i make super spicy and not so rich one and give to constant shito beggers on campus. They never came back.

      It's a spicy sea food sauce goes with almost everything. We eat it like how westerners eat ketchup and it has a long shelf life depending on how you treat and store it.
