i was shocked by G-Idle, they were definitely a standout, BTS as always EPIC, and Mamamoo always kill it on stage, Very underwhelmed by BP stage/performance I guess YG didn't have any money left for their stage after paying for all the media play here in the US
Danny watching MAMAMOO: "They're the best among idols" FACTS! For me, they're the best girl group for the 3rd generation of Kpop. Their stage presence, their vocals, their charisma, their versatility as artists, lyricists and performers. Everything is amazing. They are not the typical kpop girl group doing the cutie thingy and doing the same concept whether girly or girl crush or sexy. They can slay all genres and concepts. All of them are so damn talented and can sing and what I mean by ALL is every members not just the main vocal. Other girl groups really should look up to them and feel ashamed that they are not even a little bit worth and talented like MAMAMOO but topped the charts and won a lot of trophies just because of their fame and fans. I wish KPOP fans especially korean fans change and start to appreciate real talent instead of just visual

BTS, Mamamoo, iKon and (G)i-dle were GOOD. I don't know why Blackpink were on some budget that gave them that bare ass stage with costumes that ripped?? Them only performing one song I can understand. With only 9 songs in their discography, what else are they supposed to sing? (G)i-dle completely bypassed that awkward rookie stage and they perform like they've been doing this together for years. Soyeon is such a good leader. Mamamoo are queens of live vocals and it's sweet how they hype everybody. BTS are KINGS of the stage. Period. I love the pride that they have for their heritage and country. iKon+orchestra=Epic
I never ever payed any attention to (G)i-dle in my life but I am SHOCKED with this performance, I think because I am a blackpink fan and I'm honestly SHOCKED with the difference of production.
Blackpink not attending to any other awards this year is like..... we are not losing anything, because if THAT'S what they do in an award show, they might as well just stay home.
Sorry but (G)i-dle was GREAT! I would NEVER expect anything like that from them considering that I never listened to any of their songs or watched any of their music videos.

Honestly YG just hates his females artists so I don't know why he wants to keep debuting them. At least in the case of BP their stylist is horrible and their stage was worse than their fire and ice stage (which i actually liked a lot). He's basically just using them for clout and money. I feel bad for them but their stage was just not up to par with the other acts. They themselves performed well with their wardrobe malfuntions (Jennie's outfit ripped after she began dancing), but it was not an EOTY award show performance to me. Even (G)I-DLE and The Boyz who are rookies had better performances. I hope more BLINKS will stop being brainwashed like other YG fans and actually stop believing YG and his BS and actually push for more things from and for BP so they have better performances in the future.

Actually, Hwasa is really popular in Korea right now. Beginning of the year she was on 'I Live Alone' couple times and every time she was on the show she was a hot topic. Whatever she eats on the show is sold out in Korea like 곱창, 간장게장, 김부각. She also did some commercials like Subway, The North Face, Crunky Gold and with members Daesun Soju, Hoolala Chicken, Inga Cosmetic etc. Collaboration with loco was also a hot topic, their song '주지마' was in the first place in charts for weeks. Whatever she wears or eats become a hot topic in Korea so I actually surprised when Danny said she is the least popular in Korea.
Actually she is famous because of mukbang... Not everything became a topic actually only the mukbang except that nothing has trended recently.. All members are equally famous...
Anne Pow tbh Hwasa always been a hot topic this year is the peak and everything she eats go out of stock or trending (her impact is really no joke), but MAMAMOO on general are well known to the public always bring the rating up wherever they go
@@kuku336 Yes, they are all well-known. They're called 'Trust and Listen Mamamoo' in Korea and they have a big fan base. I mentioned only Hwasa because of Danny's comment on Hwasa.
Hwasa literally ate gopchang and every gopchang restaurant in korea went out of stock because of her. And thats not the only thing shes done
it went sold out for quite a time, plus everything she eats go trending or out of stock

Which has become a sticky point among the MooMoo's on twitter because RBW is heavily promoting the recently debut ONEUS. Some ONEUS Fans took offense, thinking we were attacking ONEUS. We aren't, we're attacking RBW, because everything (promoting/marketing/Eng Subs/etc) that RBW is doing with ONEUS, they should've been doing for Mamamoo when they released the Blue Album.
It's gotten to the point where MooMoo's have even started a GoFundMe whose sole purpose is that the funds are going to be used towards buying UA-cam/IG/Etc Ads for Mamamoo. MooMoo's have been doing the promotional work for Mamamoo which RBW should have been doing, MooMoo's are going out of their way to create the Eng Subs & Subs for other languages for the Mamamoo related videos that get uploaded to UA-cam. In comparison, it appears that RBW actually hired Personal to do the Subs for ONEUS stuff.
i don't stan any gg, but tbh G-Idle definitely better than the senior BP, which is quite mind blowing!

I wouldnt consider bp seniors, even though they act like they are. This is their second year working. Like NCT (except nct worked for two consecutive years and no breaks), so no. Even if everyone likes them and they act like they're entitled to every award, they need to just *more,* and longer.

It's just too many of us out there😂Btw I came to this part 2 for Mamamoo., actually I don't stan them (mostly just because their music is not my cup of tea), but for me they're one of the most talented gg out there. And their live performances are always good. I really hope that they'll become more successful and a lot more people will getting to know them😊

excuse me i love mamamoo and their perf was soooo good. they are legends BUT g-idle's was better. it was so expensive. they brought dancers they created a concept and the outfits was unique.. everything was so interesting. it was the best performance of the night.

I love their performance, but 1theK didn't do MooMoo's justice because if you watch the Fancams for this Performance, you will hear that the MooMoos in attendance was massive and were extremely vocal for their "Parts" of the songs
Which was very evident at the numbers when they showed the wide shot just before Starry Night started

I still don’t get how YG gave blackpink that low budget stage although they were so damn famous when mma 2018 happened. Like their stage was literally just bad. It’s too big for only 4 people and some backup dancers. The outfits were also so clapped for mma. They literally barely attend other award shows so you’d expect YG to give them an iconic and high budget stage. Even ikon who isn’t as popular as blackpink got a better stage so no excuses. Gidle, a group that debuted in 2018 had like such an amazing stage. I’ll never get it.

Everyone hating on Blackpink 🙄 tbh the only reason g idle had a better stage because they had like 100 other people on stage with them making it more alive- Blackpink had back up dancers, yes, but mainly used just them 4- why? Because they don’t need all the high tech things to make a good performance. This is g idles first year and their doing amazing just like Blackpink did with their stages when they were rookies. I bet once a new gg comes along you’ll be saying the same thing about g idle that you are with Blackpink 🙄 tbh g idles stage didn’t give me chills at all, no hate, just being honest like you all are. Blackpink is a talented group and they have many more stages to come where they will prove you haters wrong ☺️ with Blackpink being breaking records and becoming very popular it’s only right that they have many haters, so keep hating ☺️
