I just located an old homestead before winter. Found part of a wagon, a spoon and a part of an old stove in about an hour. I can’t wait until spring to go hunt.

With Native activity in the area, that long foundation could be an old fish trap. Love you guys, keep up the great work.
It definitely could be, I need to go back and search some more. The original river is close by from before the flooded everything to make a lake

Get you a long strong magnet and drag it behind you to pull up the loose iron nails. Then go over the area with the detector
I will definitely bring my strong magnet back to this site, but I first need to recovery it for the river haha, I lost it last week while magnet fishing off a bridge. Thanks for watching!

Years ago it use to be on land further from the river, but they flooded the river and land around it to make the lake , so it got submerged. Thanks for watching

If it was like the lakes here in Alabama, they probably knocked the house down. Lots of flooded home sites and farm land.

You should put your smallest coil on then work it super slow. I hunt a ghost town that has been under water and has nails everywhere to. Great video. That button was super cool.

You’re lucky you are allowed to detect where the lake has receded…..here in Nevada where Lake Mead has receded so far down, they announced that detecting is prohibited and would be enforced. No one was allowed to go out and find any treasures…..😢😢 but some still did anyway…..
That's crazy they won't allow detecting on a dried up lake bed! I definitely didn't know you couldnt do it, they may of passed the "law" because hundreds of people were going down there. If you clean up trash then it should be fine to do, you would imagine. Thanks for watching!
@nuggetnoggin ya we have a law on the books that says if it’s over 50 years old it has to stay where you found it. Guess they were figuring everything lost in Lake Mead is over 50 years old, frankly I don’t get it. There is so much in our desert all over the state, and if you find so much as a tin can…..can’t take it. 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Actually Matron coins are dated to 1816-1839 and Braided hair large cents are dated to 1839-1857. the coin you found is a Braided hair large cent.

Fresh water lake. Thanks for watching! VLF detectors ( including AT pro) won't work well in salt water. You will need multi-frequency or pulse induction detector for salt
