I live in a rough area in Massachusetts. My car is always in the garage. Even if I come home and plan on going back out my car is in the garage. This man would be a wonderful neighbor to have. I would just say to him park his nice cars in the garage that he has. If that garage is full of junk so he parks outside I'd get rid of the junk and park his cars in the garage. Lock the doors of the car even in the garage. Keep door locked at all times. Also, start a community watch in his neighborhood. Make it an unwelcome place for criminals to come to. Also, I think he is in Texas where everyone has a gun. Make sure you are armed. Go to the range a few times a year for target practice.

I live in this area and it is too rampid. My father's truck, i inherited after he passed, was stolen right from under my nose and still has not been recovered. My vehicles have been broken into 4 times and my house 3 times. It will not change until a homeowner ends up shooting someone and then it will be another fiasco in the news. And the funny thing is, they said there is one officer for this area, which by the way is too big for one guy, but really close to this guys street, there is a police station. and it STILL, takes them too long to get there. Why do people forget about how the entire black population was treated and then wonder why things are the way they are today. Black people couldn’t even get a loan in 1950, Brown vs the Board of Education was in 1954, the Tulsa massacre and I can go on. Everything wasn’t rainbows and butterflies after slavery. Everything that happened wasn’t that long ago and it still affects today.
