    Cameron is funny speaking about (not) doing the same stuff all over again and again. In 2020 he's speaking about Avatar 2, 3, 4, 5... how his approched changed.

      sometimes a movie with a bunch of sequels is a single artistic vision that requires being broken into parts to accomplish producing

      They aren’t “sequels” though. It’s one large story broken up into separate movies. All 4 shooting scripts were completely written before they even started production in 2017.

      Honestly, I'd say he still gives the same attention to detail and care and has the same determination that he did back then. I think it's amazing he hasn't gone the way of many other directors that got sloppy as they got older.
