Merry Christmas, I saw your collab part and was thinking how wild it would be if you, sam, johhny, or whoever did another weekend in Tokyo with a local guide showing the bars and food joints. That's my Christmas wish. lol, cheers.
All the best to u and the family for Xmas and the new year bro. Just a quick thanks for all ur hard work putting everything together for us back home to watch each week and just waiting for the right time to push the button and move over and start our own amazing lives. Keep up the great work in 2025 and beyond. Hope to catch up one day over there my shout for a beer 🍺👍
Been here since 2002, it’s changed dramatically Honestly, I’ve lived and owned homes in a few places in Bangkok, still own a condo on soi 39 I had place in Phuket (lived there during the 2004 Tsunami) and now own a business in the mountains. The mountains are the real Thailand, Jing 🙏
6:54 I think eSIMs are an example of normalising high prices. I can usually get a week's data on my AIS SIM card for about 25 baht. (Sometimes 10GB, sometimes much less, depending on their offers.) That's about A$1. The cheapest eSIM I've seen advertised was about A$6 for 1GB for a week. (It's still cheap, but it's 6x for a tenth the data.) Airalo has 50GB for 10 days for A$15, but that's about 10x as much per day for more data than I would ever want.
Has nothing to do with price. Esims are the same cost as physical sims. The reason for esims is security. They can't do sim swap or steal your SIM card.
@@1TechCritic420 You can get a local eSIM, but most people referring to them mean the tourist ones you buy on web sites before you arrive. If someone steals your phone, it doesn't matter which type it is using. The security difference is minimal. (However, the potential inconvenience of eSIMs is enormous. If your phone gets broken, it's very easy to just switch your SIM into a working phone. If you have eSIMs, you have to try to get them replaced, meaning you have to contact each company's customer service. A huge hassle when travelling and a huge risk with all the 2FA by SMS these days.)
Great answers . I love how you can Mod your vehicle in so many ways and not be illegal. I remember telling you about my 1st day in Pattaya and finding myself in the middle of a sting operation. So Yes when those cops surrounded you during lockdown I would be very freaked out.
inspection is different when renewing the tax verses buying the vehicle. they always stick a probe into my exhaust and check the emissions they also have an instrument to check the headlights
Hey bud! I've been enjoying your videos. They're a good cross of beers, cars and life. I have a request as a Canuck that's lived in Asia for 20+ years....my request is do a food vlog back in Oz. Go to the places YOU were keen on when you were back home. The mom'n pop places back home are just as interesting as SEA. Respect, doggy.
Ah nice man, good suggestion, I had some gems in Sydney Chinatown; but not sure how much time I’ll spend in the city this trip, if I am there, it’s an awesome idea!
nice1, I left Melbs after convid, much prefer it here but being solo it gets lonely sometimes, thats what dogs are for tho :) I wont be going back to Au.
been more than that, also lived in Thailand for a while. Got randomly stopped and searched near Lumphini Park. Thong Lor goes through phases of stop and search, usually in the early hours. There's news story from 2019 of a French guy being stop and search on Sukhumvit that resulted in him being extorted for 240K Baht but ended with senior Thong Lor police being removed from duty.
I got stopped in hkt two days ago .. they had pics of me and two guys vaping , I didn’t know them , I was not vaping . They thought I was their mate holding their bags but they had left them and gone through to food . When they realised I have a different accent to them ( Aussie isn’t Russian ) they let me go. Airport police are scary .

My missus used to spend 200 a week on lotto, 2 years ago I convinced her to spend it on bitcoin (its still gambling) So every week for two years, she bought BC. now she thinks she is a genius.
If you won 6 million on the lottery you might have trouble cashing it in,I have had a couple of minor wins, 2000 baht, I couldn’t cash it in even at the Farmers Bank as I was a foreigner. The shop I bought them from cashed them in but I had too pay a fee to them.
Korea in 20 years will be incredibly different from today due to demographics. Millions of fewer people and a much older population. Everything outside out Seoul will likely be really quiet and dull. Thailand also now starting its population decline, hence the economic situation.
When I first got here 6 years ago about 6 policeman came running out of the police box on Beach Road and surrounded me. Turned out they just wanted to take selfies with me 555555555555
Many Thai UA-cam uploaders do exactly the same content and to be honest it’s getting boring as batsh$t They gift the same markets , same malls , say restaurants are “ must try “ and all the food is “ aroy maaaaaak” Please stay different Keis I do miss Dan and Grumpy haha
As a single male Korea seems totally boreing, cold and expensive compared to Thailand. Also you cant just walk into a weed shop and have those freedoms as in Thailand. Honestly

I spent a month in Japan with an e-sim on a reasonable price

Grew up in NZ and the vehicle inspections (WoF) were a pain in the ass. The state I live in the US has zero vehicle inspections! Different for sure.
Yeah man we can literally do ANYTHING here, it makes it so fun
Please, they're hardly a ballache mate, unless you own an absolute piece!

Off subject question: your phone looks larger than the normal Samsung, etc. I am curious because I have large hands and am currently using a Doogee.
