Did you even play Lords of the Fallen? Your casting spells example for LOTF was not even him casting a spell, it was him transitioning into the world of the dead with his lamp which is not a spell.
Lmao, the casts in lotf are not nearly as good so I mean didn't miss much. Let's also talk about the clunky combat and the fact that all co-op is host side. This makes pvp shit, and ruins co-op with randoms. Especially since the cross region pool is mostly NA and EU. Anyone outside your region matches with you and has sheit wifi you're fucked.
Things I love about LOTF that are not in Souls games: 1) The player can place checkpoints. 2) Weapons/gears do not degrade. 3) Running takes a reasonable amount of stamina. 4) The umbral world mechanics is fun.

Lotf, for it being a small studio that hasent made a game like this before vs Fromsoft who invented this genre..is pretty decent. Couple more years and fromsoft may have some extreme competition.

What a dumb nitpick, they are souls like games. The campfire is a reference to the the bonfire which is a general team for any resting sight in a souls-like or souls game. The specific names aren't even relevant. And he did them a service by not casting the spells.

It’s a souls like game but guess what, different game different developers so it’s not a souls game. Dark souls had bonfires because that’s what they were called in those games. Elden ring had sites of grace because guess what, that’s why they are called in the game. Lords of the fallen has vestiges and guess what? You know the answer to that one. Secondly I agree some spells are terrible but waving your lamp about and calling it spell casting is bollox, you need to use a catalyst, and guess what? The lamp isn’t a catalyst so it wasn’t spell casting therefore no spells were shown, I’m simply stating facts here. Thirdly just like any souls game or souls like game, centre a build around casting and those spells will be good, not all I admit but some are good. As an example, I’m doing an umbrella build at the moment with the Putrid Child class, there’s one spell in particular that’s absolutely nuking bosses so I don’t know, maybes give actual spell casting a go in this game. You didn't use any spells for LOTF... And didn't utilize combo strings comparisons or show the uniqueness for blocking on LOTF. I love elden ring and LOTF but at least show all they can compared to each other.
It's actually an issue with the lock-on in the game. When you press the stick to activate it, it does not respond well... You have to press sometimes 3 Times to make it work...
Lots of Elden Ring D riders in the comments. Lord if the fallen is a superior game visually and gameay wise its better, faster and smoother and the graphics look better. Also the sound effects and the charscter customization look way better.
That's right! So many people get 1 than sit around bitching about the other game being "bad". Life is better just enjoying both of them for what they offer, and a little Lies of P thrown in doesn't hurt either. I played ER for 12 months straight but it gets boring playing the same game all of the time.
To be honest i prefer Lotf over Elden Ring. The open world kind of ruined many things i loved about their previous games. The souls formula works better in a more confined environment than a full open world.
If LotF had decent map, or some distinguished "way points". Cause I've got lost in Pilglims Perch and even NoClip doesn't work. It helps not in finding intended way. Good that Remembarance Bosses highlighted buy Pillars of Fire. Just "NoClip" there kill them and game completed. Waste of money IMHO.
@@Shvonder_Alexandrovich only gets worse in that swamp area, so easy to get lost there, dark souls (which this is more comparable to) had much more obvious way points, I like being able to just go area to area rather than getting lost and tryna find a tutorial for where to go. The maps also pretty shite so that's not much of a help, you need good memory to remember where your going in lotf.

There are many moments in Lotf where the animation feels very awkward when you move your character in small ways, and they take away from the fun of playing. If it gets smoother with updates, I think it will be the best Souls game ever.
ER has its goofy ass moments lol. I fell off a cliff and slid/glitched back up to the top then died. It's definitely goofy at times. Neither are perfect. ER is far from perfect

I havent played the whole LOTF but i can say the game is insanely good, it has better balance, better graphics, world and locations, bosses, and is way more enjoyable than ER for me, but ER is amazing too

This is plain untrue, all of the weapons have the same movesets in lords besides the few boss weapons which you have to upgrade fully to unlock. Elden Ring actually has weapons with unique movesets.

That would be cheating, Miyazaki and FromSoftware does not remake Demon's Souls. The remake of Demon's Souls is made by Bluepoint Games (Western). The Japanese have a different way of doing things.
In animations and sound The Lords of the Fallen is much more real (and graphically obviously). While Elder Ring feels like a more childish game without blood and more anime-style effects of magic and surreal jumping. When you hit in Elder Ring it sounds like shaking a blanket. Being European, I am going to say that the game that best represents medieval armor and sounds, animations and modeled graphics is The Lords of the Fallen.
I can see what you mean, this video makes it look like Lotf has a darker tone compared to Elden ring, but Elden ring does have a very dark tone too depending on your location. And some of the female characters in Elden ring do look alot like anime girls, but that’s about it. Compare 2:50 as an example, the shield block effect is much more cartoonish in Loft compared to Elden ring. Also I notice alot of the animation transitions are a bit janky in Lotf which bothers me alot but I understand that most people probably wont even notice those details.

Elden ring is a much longer game and has most of the bugs fixed and is probably a more stable game at this point. I'm 165 hour's in and I'm still on my first playthrough lol I'm thinking about LOTF but I heard it's pretty glitchy and broken at this time

I tried all of them and in sum, all lorewise games with better graphics than Elden Ring are just offering a crisp detailed cartoon. In terms of gameplay and dynamics, they are just a huge waste of time. Even if you can get them for free, time is much more expensive than your few couple of bucks so there's no need for a comparison. Elden Ring is just the best of the best. Not only in soulslike world, it's just the best game ever made. Way too far beyond the present. They could've done better in terms of graphics on console though. Ray Tracing on PS5 just kills the game. Ultimate disaster. Apart from that, a person who dies before playing Elden Ring, misses much a lot more than a millionaire sniffing cocaine through a top model's butt.
Lords of the Fallen feels like a smoother Dark Souls 2 and that’s not saying much. The bar is that low 😄. Very stiff and tedious combat with bad hitboxes!
Elden ring for sure but Loft (in my opinion) feels much more soulsy than a lot of the recent soulslikes so if you want a souls like with similar mechanics and the dual world then lords of the fallen is good for that. Elden ring has a much better story and lore, progression (for me) didn't feel to much of a grind, bosses are more of a challenge (although for designs lotf has some great looking bosses) in terms of mechanics Lotf feels abit more jank than Elden ring (I hate the jumping in lotf) the lock on to me feels terrible but the actual feeling of combat and things like parrying felt easier to do in Lotf. The only thing I'll say is the health on just normal enemies feels a little bit too high which feels like a bit of a placebo effect because I get to a boss and it doesn't feel to bad after being run up on by like 30 normal enemies getting cornered and then smashed to bits. So I recommend to people who haven't played to defo farm a fair bit to where you feel comfortable with normal enemies before getting into a boss fight because if you don't die by the boss you most likely will on the way there to the boss fight. The vestiges also could be occur abit more just as sometimes they are few and far between.

In animations and sound The Lords of the Fallen is much more real (and graphically obviously). While Elder Ring feels like a more childish game without blood and more anime-style effects of magic and surreal jumping. When you hit in Elder Ring it sounds like shaking a blanket. Being European, I am going to say that the game that best represents medieval armor and sounds, animations and modeled graphics is The Lords of the Fallen.

I can see what you mean, this video makes it look like Lotf has a darker tone compared to Elden ring, but Elden ring does have a very dark tone too depending on your location. And some of the female characters in Elden ring do look alot like anime girls, but that’s about it.
Compare 2:50 as an example, the shield block effect is much more cartoonish in Loft compared to Elden ring.
Also I notice alot of the animation transitions are a bit janky in Lotf which bothers me alot but I understand that most people probably wont even notice those details.

I tried all of them and in sum, all lorewise games with better graphics than Elden Ring are just offering a crisp detailed cartoon. In terms of gameplay and dynamics, they are just a huge waste of time. Even if you can get them for free, time is much more expensive than your few couple of bucks so there's no need for a comparison. Elden Ring is just the best of the best. Not only in soulslike world, it's just the best game ever made. Way too far beyond the present. They could've done better in terms of graphics on console though. Ray Tracing on PS5 just kills the game. Ultimate disaster. Apart from that, a person who dies before playing Elden Ring, misses much a lot more than a millionaire sniffing cocaine through a top model's butt.
Lords of the Fallen feels like a smoother Dark Souls 2 and that’s not saying much. The bar is that low 😄. Very stiff and tedious combat with bad hitboxes!

Elden ring for sure but Loft (in my opinion) feels much more soulsy than a lot of the recent soulslikes so if you want a souls like with similar mechanics and the dual world then lords of the fallen is good for that. Elden ring has a much better story and lore, progression (for me) didn't feel to much of a grind, bosses are more of a challenge (although for designs lotf has some great looking bosses) in terms of mechanics Lotf feels abit more jank than Elden ring (I hate the jumping in lotf) the lock on to me feels terrible but the actual feeling of combat and things like parrying felt easier to do in Lotf. The only thing I'll say is the health on just normal enemies feels a little bit too high which feels like a bit of a placebo effect because I get to a boss and it doesn't feel to bad after being run up on by like 30 normal enemies getting cornered and then smashed to bits. So I recommend to people who haven't played to defo farm a fair bit to where you feel comfortable with normal enemies before getting into a boss fight because if you don't die by the boss you most likely will on the way there to the boss fight. The vestiges also could be occur abit more just as sometimes they are few and far between.

La cámara se va para cualquier lado, lo jefes son bastante "meh" tirando a malos. Los escenarios y los gráficos si son bonitos.
