Bradford local here, not in city but from the area. it is certainly a very dangerous place. there is a very high amount of drug use/abuse, hate crimes amongst minorities and LGBT+ people, not to mention this hidden race war that divides us as people. I remember the first time I went to the US... I’m a big guy at 6’ 5”, but a Boston cop towered above me. He was pleasant to me as a tourist, but I had no doubt that he was a serious police officer. He had a gun etc. By comparison, the U.K. police are sometimes extremely vulnerable. It’s fine and we’ll policing by consent when you’re dealing with level headed individuals, but when you’re not, that’s when size, fitness and the right equipment save lives.

I live in a small town in south east England and I feel unsafe at night. There are places around the world where people will mug you because they're poor but I feel like there's an alarming amount of violent people in this country. So with all this going on, in 20 short years time who will look after the old in the west? Where will the young ppl be, to work and pay taxes to support the NHS, adult social care, pensions etc....there will be MORE old white pensioners then young white ppl that work and pay TAXES.
Where will the new consumers, borrowers and economy stimulatetors come from............
