I was able to experience this fantastic band in Berlin in October 2023. I haven't seen such a perfect concert (sound, vocals, instruments) for a long, really long time. Even almost a month later I still have goosebumps.... Thank you and I hope to see the band again next year...

I just watched the documentary about them. Turns out that not only do they listen to the songs for hours and hours to recreate each and every tiny little sound/melody/variation perfectly, but they also play the songs in the EXACT same tempo as the original, i.e. INCLUDING THE SLIGHT NATURAL TEMPO CHANGES IN THE ORIGINAL SONGS. While listening to the record they created click tracks that follow the original tempo, going up and down the tiniest bit (because the Beatles are no robots). So it's not a clicktrack like '82 bpm the whole song' or something, it's not a metronome. Each song has their own unique click track, accelerating and slowing down very little, barely audible. During the performance they all have this click tracks in their ears. That's one of the reasons why their renditions come so close to the original records. It's insane.
Closer to sgt. Pepper is not possible! All those details! Perfect! It’s a pity that Jan van der Mey isn’t in the group anymore! A great singer and brave personality!

There is an English proverb - "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and The Analogues performances of Beatles music even goes further than this - it rises to a what seems to be an impossible challenge to recreate their epic songs so accurately to bring them alive to a new audience some 50 to 60 years after they were performed - or not performed (live). Brilliant, dedicated, full of love, with love returned by those there to witness those shows. Would that there will be "Analogues" so dedicated in years, nay in centuries to come!
I watched their latest "White Album" re-creation last night, in Doetinchem, the Netherlands. Another masterpiece brought to life in an almost perfect way! They will continue their tour thru-out Belgium and Germany.

I’ve just noticed that at the end of SPLHC, when Jan sings ‘the one and only Billy Shears’, his voice drops on ‘Shears’ - just as Paul’s does. To call them a cover band would be an insult - they are (or, sadly, were) The Beatles reincarnated. I’ve seen a lot of other Beatles tributes bands, and none of them come anywhere near The Analogues.
quint555 is absolutely right about these guy's. I'd like to add the following:............the Beatles have been the absolute creative-ones.........BUT to me, these analogues are FAR MORE the BETTER performers !!!!!
Berry Sipsma well it’s hard to compare since the Beatles never performed this album live. Also these guys don’t have screaming maniacs in the audience and I think if the Beatles hadn’t had that, their shows would’ve been better
