Did you try replacing the AC amplifier
Hello man. I read your comment from this guys last to videos. Since I had the same problem and I replaced the ac amplifier. And it actually engages the compressor now but only for around 10 seconds and my compressor makes a squid noise. I'm assuming the compressor might be bad
Where did you get the pulley replacement? Part number if possible please.
Pulley is a part of the AC clutch. But I would say the clutch is less likely to go bad compared to the compressor itself. You can check the clutch operation by measuring the voltage. But when the compressor is bad, clutch power turns off immediately after turned on. You should be able to find the clutch on EBay or other auto parts side. Google search will get you there.
my rav4 2001 is a diesel , so its a bit different :/
