We agree! It was such a pleasure to meet with Brittany and have such a great time touring their amazing facility! We are so glad you could join us on the adventure and hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching!
We are so glad you enjoyed the video! It was such an amazing and interesting experience and we are so glad we could share it with you! Thanks so much for watching!😀
I cannot believe how much energy is put into MY making a quilt. Thank you for all the intricate details. Now maybe others will see this and show us what their companies companies have to go thru in order to keep their merchandise working and running with high efficiency. I so loved the video. Makes me wanna do a walk thru of the fabric ( just kidding), just seeing it was great and I'm sure a humongous project. Thank you.
We are so glad you loved the video! A huge thanks to EE Schenck for giving us this tour so we could share it with you and for showing us the amazing production of providing us with the awesome fabrics for your beautiful quilts! Thanks so much for joining us!🥰
We're so glad you enjoyed the tour! We had such a great experience at EE Schenck and Maywood. A huge thank you to them for letting us learn all about their company. We love all the quilts too! Such beautiful fabric! Thanks so much for watching🥰🎉
😍😍So sorry I am just catching this .I am trying to catch up on the comments. Hope to do better in the future. Thanks for watching our lives. We appreciate it !!!!!!
How can you be around all those beautiful fabrics? I would be drooling all the time. I m an 84 year old quilter and really appreciate seeing your wear house. Thank you, Shirley Carman
I found this fascinating. Many years ago, I worked in the fabric area of a dept store. That is a thing of the past but a time in my life that I treasure.
That sounds like it was a wonderful experience! It is fascinating to be able to go to this huge warehouse and learn so much about fabric production. We are so glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching!❤️😀
I worked for a paper company for many years, and this is a similar setup and just as fascinating! I wanted to always bring different papers and envelopes home, but I'd be wanting to bring a lot more fabric home!
Totally cool tour... very interesting of how the product is prepared for shipping out. Sure is a LOT of fabric, batting, notions, etc. Can't even comprehend the numbers involved with keeping track of everything. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to y'all.
Wow! What a great video. You did a great job Brody. Asked questions I wanted answered! 😁I wouldn't mind shopping there myself. that would be a great trip for me!
Woah, I live in Portland OR and didn't know this business was here (of course, I don't own a shop or I would have known, lol!). This was so interesting to see the process that gets the fabrics into quilters' hands! Thank you!
I would died and gone to Heaven to be in that warehouse! OMG!!! I'll take a bolt of each please!!! LMAO!! When is the next "open to the public" event? I'm thinking there may be a road trip in my future!!
Thanks for this video. So many great feels. I did geek out a little bit as 40 years ago I did all these warehouse and cutting tasks with microscope cover glass. Huge sheets of glass came in and tiny squares of glass went out to scientific companies.
Thanks for the tour! That was so interesting! I was lucky enough recently to find (second hand store) a 12 yard bolt, 118" of white 100% Cotton fabric from EE Schenck! I'm not sure what the original price was but I'm sure I got the best deal of the year for $24.00! 😁
😍😍So sorry I am just catching this .I am trying to catch up on the comments. Hope to do better in the future. Thanks for watching our lives. We appreciate it !!!!!!
There are still companies that make their fabric in here in the States, although a lot of companies do have factories overseas. You can usually find out where particular companies produce their fabrics online. Thanks so much for watching and we hope you enjoyed the video!🥰
We are so glad you enjoyed the video! We didn't ask about the dress..You know, guys...😂😂 Thank you so much for watching! We hope you can join us again soon!
Your warehouse looks like a sewers Mecca, a worthy pilgrimage, a “I’ve died and gone to fabric heaven”, trade you chocolate to take an in person tour. I dream in fabric, I bet every hard core quilter, taylor, seamstress does too over your warehouse. I’m sitting next to my sewing machine and watching your video, just saying…..
Sew Yeah, I have a question. Normally fabric is bolted. I found a full roll of maywood studios cotton fabric. How much comes on a roll. I purchased that fabric for 20. I took 10 yards, my mom took 10 yards, 3 of my friends took 10 yards. Are there 50 yds on those rolls?
We feel the same way! Such an awesome place! A huge thanks to EE Schenck for giving us the tour, and we are so glad you could join us! See you again soon!

Thanks so much for having us!
That was going to be my question - where is this? I thought maybe PA.
I'd be drooling in there! hahaha
I’m hoping it’s Portland, Oregon
Are the demo quilts made by humans? Or mass produced? So interesting, thank you for the tour!
Oh, I wish I lived in the Portland area. I’d try to work there.
😊😊😊
That’s like visiting fabric candy land 😂 ❤❤❤
That's what it felt like... Take me back! 😅
Years ago when I had my Fabric Shop I came down and bought fabric from this company. I don’t remember it being this big. Now I’m into quilting.
Wow!!! a great story!
😍that place is heaven!
