Thank you. There are not too many preaching truth right now so this was a blessing. Earlier in the week, I had one lady wanting to argue this salvation is extremely difficult to achieve and a man telling me I needed to confess to being a fallen angel. These are difficult times. I had no idea how ridiculous it was going to get.
@DontBelongHere417 , it’s pretty bad , I’m listening to and commenting on mostly last moments of this Age type videos on UA-cam and the arguing over things that are not doctrine for the body of Christ is over the top , whew ! Makes we wonder how many are really saved and ready to go ! John
I am so grateful for this truth given to me in my later years. I have 6 siblings, 3 have passed. None of the other three give me a good feeling about their beliefs. Pentecostal or baptist around the edges, not dedicated.
A very simple and powerful message. Bro Reid , I hope you are wrong about whose saved or not saved in Christendom. But I believe you are correct because we read that God wipes our tears and sorrows away and that the former things are forgotten. This leads me to believe that a lot of our loved ones will be in hell, causing great sadness and anguish. God won’t have that in our minds for an eternity, so he wipes are minds clean of the past by throwing death (i.e. sorrows, anxiety, etc) and hell into lake of fire. Thank you for a great message today .
If I may share some thoughts: We will have a transformed mind and perspective after the adoption (rapture). We will see things as God does and not be subject to the weakness natural emotions. Our true family and loved ones then will number into the millions. Those who perish, we will be witnesses of their destruction and while that seems unconscionable right now, from the other side, we will know it was completely and totally holy justice being done as the books of their lives will be opened. We will be entirely satisfied with the decision of God and rejoice at His actions of justice. We will not mourn of their forever destruction because we will understand everything that could have been done, was done, and they of their own choices shut the door to the work Jesus accomplished. Also due to our own Judgement Seat experience after the rapture, God will have rightly answered all of our works among them while we were yet in the earth; some of us to shame and some of us to approval, yet all of us will have praise of God. The natural blood bonds we feel in this life won't remain in the next life. The "new creature" reality supersedes any sub-Adam reality we entered this world through, having been formerly crucified to that. These are things we cannot fully comprehend in this life as of yet, but in the next we will. The tears wiped from the eyes occurs after the new heaven and new earth are completed, after the Great White Throne Judgement is finished. It speaks symbolically the former existence of sin and all that it ruined will be passed away, all evil locked away in the Lake of Fire eternally, the complete satisfaction of every injury against God and His handiwork having been satisfied by God's Justice.
Dear Pastor David, there is a lot going on about the astronomical event this 9/23/2023. I believe in pre-trib rapture and what God has said will happen. Praise God for churches like CBB. God bless you, your Family and your ministry. ❤🇵🇭
@@ColumbusBibleChurch well, i am seeing it on TikTok about the astronomical alignment that will happen this 9/23/2023. Plus the Israeili-Saudi peace with the US as 'the middlemen' for this agreement which, according to posts, will be signed on 9/23/2023. It is written that no one knows when that time will come and i share to people around me and to people i meet the mystery revealed by our Lord Jesus Christ to our Apostle Paul so they will also become a Body of Christ. Blessings to you, Pastor David. BTW, today 9/15 is my bday 🎂🎈🥂 and i thank Father God for His faithfulness to me ❤️🙌
@caliachmed4718 Happy birthday! As to the items you mentioned, I personally wouldn't put much stock in them. It is common for folks to predict the date of the Rapture, and they have always been wrong for the simple reason that God chose not to give us sufficient information to predict the date of the Rapture. Grace and peace.
Wow it’s like Noah he was told by God and no one listened to him and they all perished. Magnify Paul’s office his teaching or you will go to the lake of fire. So many go by the other Apostles and Jesus teachings to the Jews .
For those who want to use there own faith to believe, there is a story about a group of people that went to a new restraunt and asked for a menu, the waitress said our name is Karma, we do not have a menu, you get what you deserve.
It's interesting to note that all of Pauls letters to the churches start with the greeting,"..to the saints of ..". So the believers he is addressing are already saved believers who were already saved before Paul wrote these letters. The only account we have of Paul leading any of these saints to salvation is the disciples outside if Ephesis in Acts ch.19. They had not recieved the gospel message in its fulness because they had not recieved the Holy Spirit knowing only Johns baptism. Paul told them that John truly baptized in the baptism of repentance and that he said to look to the one to come after him, Christ Jesus. On hearing this they not didn't make a confession that they were saved but believed by what they did next was to go down to the water a let Paul baptize them. Thet believed by what they did. Afterwards Paul.layed hands in them and the recieved the Holy Spirit evidenced by them speaking in tongues. This is the same way Paul/ Saul was saved in Acts ch 9. Also the same plan of salvation that Peter preached in Acts ch.2. Nowhere do we have an an account of Paul leading anyone to salvation by faith alone.
Because they are ignorant of the fact that the OT saints had symbols and imagery that pointed to it, but never fully understood it (Colossians 2:17). Jesus' own disciples had no understanding of these things (Luke 18:34). The OT saints had faith in what God had revealed up until that point, but no further, and when they died, went to Abraham's bosom to await the proclamation of victory over sin/death by Jesus Christ himself (1 Peter 4:6).
There are those who ask questions because they sincerely want to know information for which they seek. Not many of those around. There are those who ask questions because they are antagonists, already know the answer, and want to make sure YOU agree with what they "know", which knowledge they think characterizes YOU as a heretic. These are the people who are notorious time wasters. They aren't humble, they aren't interested in doing the work of God, they know God (they think) and you don't (they think), they cause problems with everyone they meet, they take up a tremendous amount of time, they never learn anything outside their preferred channel of profain and vain babblings. While they are capable of understanding simple black and white scripture statements, they quickly insert their exception the instant someone is done quoting God's words. They have a well worn path around the barn. Then there are those who are neither seeking true Bible knowledge nor are they antagonistic. They simply want to be left to their chosen routine of satiating false church and false messages. They don't want debate, they don't want reasoning, they don't want to be questioned, they like what they like and it's good enough for them. They read a little Bible, they listen to a little Bible reading from an electronic device, they have a favorite English translation, they attend their chosen counterfeit assembly, they listen to a preacher weekly, they help mow the grass and set up chairs. They have a stack of commentaries, books, devotionals, topical manuals through which they filter their watered down translation. They are good enough. Sadly this is my Christian family. It's lonely being a mid-Acts Pauline right-divider. But I wouldn't choose any other way.
Oh same! Our extended family and friends are so comfortable mowing lawns and putting away chairs too but are never comfortable to reason together over doctrine. We are seen as weird as we believe God preserved His word and think doctrine is important for our spiritual growth. It's so frustrating as our character is then slandered as not really being Christians as we take doctrine too seriously and have forgotten about it being about 'Jesus' . Totally hear what you're saying
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through ( not by faith, our faith is uncleaned, Isaiah 64:6...filthy rags, Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him, (that is why it is through faith not by faith, it is Gods faith we receive to believe. To believe is a total gift of God, totally! 1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only were have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.) ( Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens: ) We know Christ died for all and is the Saviour of the world. The bible says no one seeks God, so none can be saved until God calls them and gives them faith to believe.
Absurd to think that God chooses whom He wants to save and whom He wants to cast into the lake of fire. Also absurd and prideful to think you are so special that God chooses to save you and chooses to send others to the lake of fire. Blasphemous actually!
@@jk11222 1 Corinthians 15:28..............that God may be all in all. Please remember God can do what he wants, Why? He is God and is love. He can save all and does not need anyones approval!
You claim God can do anything He wants. That means you are implying God can lie if He wants to because He doesn’t need anyone’s approval and if He wants to lie, nobody can stop Him. Nope! God cannot do everything He wants in the way you have claimed. God cannot lie. It’s impossible for God to lie. 👇🏼 Hebrews 6: 18. God is righteous. He doesn’t tolerate unrighteousness. To claim God has the liberty to save whosoever He wants and send whosoever He wishes to the lake of fire or to save everyone or damn everyone without satisfying His own righteousness is blasphemous! God says whosoever believes in the Son has eternal life (John 3:16) and God has also predestinated whosoever believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is saved and whosoever believes not is damned into the lake of fire. And therefore God must save those who choose to believe and cast those who choose not to believe into that lake of fire as He has predestinated. He is righteous. He must perform according to His rules righteously. Those who claim God can do whatever He wishes without satisfying His own righteousness blaspheme God.
I find it sad that you people don't know God on a more personal level. Isaiah 64:6 is not our "faith is as filthy rags," but Israel's righteousness (their good works) are as filthy rags. And it isn't God's faith that is the righteousness of God. It's the faith of Christ. The righteousness of God which is by the faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all that believe... Jesus was not only righteous by His works being absolutely perfect, but He was also righteous because His faith is absolutely perfect, too. Anyone who believes in Christ's death burial and resurrection for their justification is righteous before God with Christ's perfect righteousness. God doesn't appoint who will believe and who won't believe. He wants all to believe. Your confusion comes from not considering what Paul says. 2 Timothy 2:7. You're lumping Paul's message for the Body of Christ Church with the rest of the Bible written to and for Israel. You gotta keep these things separate. You gotta rightly divide these things.
