@@JesuslovesRudy I'm a cessationist too => kind of => but i do differ from you and would like to understand your POV to see if it's Biblical and from where you get your belief. I believe the SIGN GIFTS have ceased. But GOD is the same today and always => TRUE ? HE's no more less miraculous, correct ? So => is SAVING SOMEONE => taking them from spiritual death to new life in CHRIST => a miracle ? Can it be done w/o GOD ? I agree => it's not speaking in tongues or healing the sick or walking on water, etc., etc. => BUT => w/o that miracle => how would anyone be added to THE BODY OF CHRIST ? How about your prayers ? Why pray if you don't think HE can or will INTERVENE OR BE INVOLVED ? And does HE order your steps ? As he did Joseph's in the OT ? Does HE harden or soften peoples hearts ? Has HE had ANYTHING TO DO WITH ISRAEL being in the right location to fulfill the remainder of prophecy ? On and On. So, i agree that the sign gifts have ceased and that HE's NOT "INVOLVED" IN THAT WAY NOW ==> NOW THAT THE BIBLE IS COMPLETE => but that's not what you wrote ==> you wrote miracles are no longer necessary => and if for salvation alone => they certainly are. Are they not ? Interested to understand your POV. Thanks.
With the law still existing for the lost during the dispensation of grace ... are the kingdom gospel principles of how one gets saved (faith, works, enduring til the end) under the kingdom gospel still at work for those who do not put their faith in the gospel of grace/Christ ? And if so, will anyone alive during the dispensation of grace be saved under the kingdom gospel principles of salvation?
During the dispensation of grace, the lost are under the OT law. The kingdom gospel is not applicable today. The only way for anyone to be saved today is the gospel of Christ (1Cor 15:3-4).
Thank you for that clarification. So by that measure, there is a finite amount of OT (under the law) Saints, all prior to the forming of the body of Christ, that have been/will be, saved by the kingdom gospel, who have experienced physical death and reside in paradise currently... correct?
And btw ... Christ’s words prior to the cross are becoming more illuminated for me with the understanding of the distinction between Israel and the Body of Christ. Struggling for the last 40 years to make sense of seemingly contradictory scriptures is slowly fading .... thank you for your, and H Lavern Schafer’s teachings on these matters.
It's hard for me to believe that if a person believes in the gospel of grace but then, at a later date, stops believing in it, and actually starts believing in "something else" and actually went around preaching that "something else" and leading others away from the true gospel, that that person would continue to be saved.
God knows the heart. The question is really, did they truly believe? We cannot know, but God does. If the belief is such that the Holy Spirit seals you and your salvation is genuine, then you are sealed and saved forever. If you stray after that, you continue to be sealed. You cannot be unsealed. Your rewards at the Bema Judgement Seat however, can be lost due to your actions.
Excellent study

Hello, Mr David. please talk about MIRACLES in this GRACE ERA..
I am willing to know if God still does miracles TODAY.
thank you
We have His Word now so miracles are no longer necessary.

Largely correct. There were some OT saints saved during the book of Acts.

Btw... I've tried to email you a couple questions on your website and it keeps telling me I'm a robot, lol.
How do we know you are not? Just kidding. We will look into this.
@@ColumbusBibleChurch thank you 😊 I have to try to remember my 2 questions 😁
