It is georgous..such a nice island.. With Self open and close wooden gate..animal prevention entry point. It is easy to look at kiwi??Beautiful natural landscape..i hope to visit this place Thank you.God bless
Hope you get the chance too! Not very easy to see a Kiwi in the wild as they're shy but they're also nocturnal creatures so if there's any chance it's outside at night in more forest areas. Easier to see them in conservation parks and Kiwi houses 🙂

Yea! Peas are good for them, bread is terrible for animals! Peas are great too coz so small and you can chuck lots out and feed many at a time 😁 we didn't know till our mate Sam told us and we read up on it too 👍🙂

I live in Gulf Harbour!!! Can’t believe I missed you guys. I took ferry to city almost everyday. We used to be able to feed the fish from the other side (on the pier), now the pier is closed.
Does the ferry depart from near spot? We saw the ramp/walk way but it was closed too. I think we were there on the weekend from memory! 🙂 That's a shame that pier is closed.. it gets you much closer to the water. Peter had to climb down the rocks to get closer to take a video of the fish 😅🐟 and yes.. in his jandals! Always makes me nervous 😅

It gets like that here in California, you hit the summer, and you're not seeing a lot of waterfalls anymore! The little trickle down the waterfall was still nice. The lookout point was really spectacular. What was that group of people marching around in camouflage? So random!! Great way to end the day by hitting up the beach. The price on the meal $21 USD was really affordable as well. That was so awesome seeing the Stingrays around the dock area. The fish were loving the food.. and the pigeons HAHAHAHA!! Divebombers!!

The views from Thai Windows is perfect and better yet when the food is just as good looking. Guys, we just watch a series where a couple went out to pick up cockles. Would love to try that sometime, although not sure that Nabol would eat them. Hahaha We can relate with you when it comes to getting lost. Hahaha We're so jealousy of that beautiful weather by the way. It's dark, cold and rainy over here.

Yeah I guess that predator fence across the peninsula keeps critters from swimming across to Tiritiri Matangi Island sanctuary. I saw my first wild Takahe and Tuatara there but there are a lot more endangered and rare birds so well worth the boat trip across.
Wow! Neither of us have ever seen a tuatara out in the wild, that would've been so amazing 😍 such cool creatures. Takahe look pretty cute and a lil like pukeko ay? It's pretty cool that kiwis are officially no longer endangered!

Hahaha yea a very chilled out roll with it kinda day 🤣👍 we have indeed both done Waitomo caves! Unfortunately a long time ago before we were vlogging though. Plus coz they're caves and dark we can't really make videos easily from inside. We did do a Waitomo video recently though.. there's a place called Mangapohue Natural Bridge that we visited in it and you can also see glow worms there as night apparently. Plus that place is free 👍 Many of the Waitomo caves and activities are paid attractions and there was one we asked if we could take our camera along with us to vlog but they wanted to charge us $10,000 to do that.. I kid you not 😅😅😅 hope you get to go to the caves though, they're pretty awesome 🙂👍
Its usually pretty dry, I grew up 2 mins down the road, and always laughed at the fact it was called waterfall gully. Its never more than a trickle thanks to global warming

It would come to the edge then disappear quite suddenly... we never knew you could feed fish peas ay but apparently they really love them 🤣 hahaha that waterfall was such a fail 😅 We've only really seen nice to awesome ones in NZ so that one was just so crack up 🤣🤣 hahaha I still remember that kick boxing day in Bangkok.. poor Peter was so gassed by the end of the session! But he did really well to endure through the Thailand heat too! Btw in case we don't get a chance to say later, merry christmas and happy holidays to you and your wifey! 🎄🤶🎅❤️

Yeah I guess that predator fence across the peninsula keeps critters from swimming across to Tiritiri Matangi Island sanctuary. I saw my first wild Takahe and Tuatara there but there are a lot more endangered and rare birds so well worth the boat trip across.
Wow! Neither of us have ever seen a tuatara out in the wild, that would've been so amazing 😍 such cool creatures. Takahe look pretty cute and a lil like pukeko ay? It's pretty cool that kiwis are officially no longer endangered!

Have you done the Waitomo Caves? I have always wanted to go.
Hahaha yea a very chilled out roll with it kinda day 🤣👍 we have indeed both done Waitomo caves! Unfortunately a long time ago before we were vlogging though. Plus coz they're caves and dark we can't really make videos easily from inside. We did do a Waitomo video recently though.. there's a place called Mangapohue Natural Bridge that we visited in it and you can also see glow worms there as night apparently. Plus that place is free 👍 Many of the Waitomo caves and activities are paid attractions and there was one we asked if we could take our camera along with us to vlog but they wanted to charge us $10,000 to do that.. I kid you not 😅😅😅 hope you get to go to the caves though, they're pretty awesome 🙂👍

Its usually pretty dry, I grew up 2 mins down the road, and always laughed at the fact it was called waterfall gully. Its never more than a trickle thanks to global warming

With some of the more difficult te reo names we try to find videos on how to pronounce them coz we grew up hearing them very incorrectly and had to unlearn them! 😅 Even whangaparaoa I think I replayed a video teaching how to say that correctly like 10 times and practiced saying it like triple that til it felt natural hahaha 😆 grew up saying that one like whangapaROA (instead of the end bit of "raoa") which is quite different! 🙂
