Had Richard been unjustly fired for instance, I think it would have been very difficult to accept Robert. However, Richard didn’t want to be on the series any longer and it certainly isn’t enjoyable to watch someone play a role they don’t want to embrace. (Just my humble opinion.) I enjoyed watching Robert Wrightman’s performances in the series. When he slept on the park bench, lost his beloved typewriter and had no money, I absolutely ached inside. He reminds me so much of my sweet grandson, Nathan. Robert Wrightman seems like a very gentle soul - someone whom embodied the same qualities as John-Boy. I think he was a great choice. Thank you Judy - as always this was another very enjoyable discussion.

I could sit all day and listen to your stories of The Walton's. I love story telling. I am an amateur writer and I know I mentioned this before; I love the way Earl Hamner Jr., told a story, both in his writing and reading.Good writing could fall flat, if the story is not told well. People have told me that I am a good story teller, both in writing and spoken. I love your voice. It's expressive without being overly emotion. Oh, and I am always curious what celebrities bought with their first pay cheque. How did you treat yourself.
Hi Judy! I found about your channel via Dave Sundstrom’s interview this past week. I was about 7 when I and my folks started watching “The Waltons”. We watched it weekly for years. Throughout the years since, the scenes that I remember the most was when John Sr got struck by lightning, John Boy going to write the story of the Hindenburg landing and later saw its destruction, and when Ellen Corby suffered a stroke, and how they wrote that in. It was my first introduction of what happens to stroke victims. Glad they kept her in the show as much as they could. I know it had to be difficult for all to deal with. Cheers, Jeff.

My daughter Abagail and I just love listening to you. Sometimes if it wasn't for the Waltons I just don't know what we would watch ❣️ Seriously, it's just like going back to home to me. 💜
Here's one for you, Judy. How was one of Mary Ellen's first beau's GW to work with? It took me until more internet info to realize he was actually on Nanny and the Professor prior to this. Also, another one of those great slang terms your character used that was pretty funny was: "...GW, I'm going to wham you..!"
Yep... such fun. I enjoyed working with David. I speak about him and the casting in the segment about The Hunt. ua-cam.com/video/sqbND75imNc/v-deo.html Also about teaching him to dance in The Easter Story ua-cam.com/video/OHXk4Tju4_U/v-deo.html If you'd like to check out either video.
I found the story line of Curt being alive very relevant. My uncle was at Pearl Harbor during the attack. He lived but came back a different man. People didn't understand PTSD back then. There was strife in my family because of my uncle and his change and condition. Eventually a rift formed between him and my father who was younger. The two men, although living in the same town, never talked again for the rest of their lives. I had cousins in town that I never met.
Thanks Judy. Love your broadcasts. So informative and helps us understand what you are like as “real people”. Give the rest of the crew our love, especially David. We would love to hear from him. Don’t worry about not remembering. We will help you fill in!
Hi Judy! I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy these " behind the scenes " stories about the Walton's. I just watched one of my favorite episodes ,the Conflict, about Martha Corine and her family being forced off their land. Unfortunately, Mary Ellen didn't have much of a role. This episode gets to me every time I watch it. The wonderful actress who played Martha Corine was so believable in the part and I really felt for her. This scenario is still playing out in this country and could very soon in my area. Anyway, I look forward to more great Walton's stories. God bless you.
Thank you Judy, for answering the questions about the 2 John Boys. I don't think about the fact that the producers come up with ideas, without considering continuity or the rest of the cast.
I find it so awesome that after all these years you guys still contact each other and care for each other. that is a real family. Other tv show cast do this but yours seem to really stand out a lot in this more than I see of most others. A special thing. Thank you for letting us peak into your lives.
My wife and I have begun binge-watching every episode in order...next episode is season 6 ep1. I have never watched the entire series but after we binged on Little House on the Prairie we decided The Waltons would be next on the list. We love it and wish our grandkids would sit still long enough to watch an episode in it's entirety, lol. Many episodes can really relate to modern times when it comes to issues like race and war. We are aware that Richard Thomas leaves the series and it'll be weird seeing another actor playing the iconic role. I had no idea! I thought Richard Thomas was on the show for the entire run! Grandma's illness and not being in most of season 5 was sad...didn't like Zeb without Ester. Not really looking forward to the end of the series but we've got all of the post-series movies to watch in order too! Thanks for doing all of these videos!
Thanks, again, Judy for sharing your wonderful insights. Two of my favorites that featured Mary Ellen among others are The Actress and especially The Quilting! I wonder what you think about how the quilting dilemmas were solved, if such a solution would fly in today's times. John Boy really laid it on thick in the attic with the ole "fear, obligation, and guilt." lol 😄 Mr. Hamner's mother's side of the family (Gianinni's) were Italian and John Boy's reasoning in that scene is very Italian family-oriented with respect and love for elders and traditions, some of which Mary Ellen chafed at understandably. The entire episode was a very good showcase of the actors' great talents. Have a great week! Bless you and all the Walton's people! ☺️🍂🍁🧡📝📚
I love your videos, thank you for doing them😊 I just watched “The Pony Cary” episode, how was it working with Beulah Bondi? I noticed in the episode she is talking with Johnboy next to the graves of her family and he talks her into going back home with him because she is ill. In that scene she walks away from Richard and he looks at the camera smiles and winks. I always enjoy seeing that
My daughter, whose 21, saw one of your videos on my phone and instantly said "isn't she on the Waltons". The show stands the test of time. Thanks to the reruns I've watched or rewatched a majority of the episodes. I remember the later years but the show started maybe 6 months before I was born.
Still so beautiful Judy, thanks 4 for all your wonderful stories. It's nice while working from home. I saw a recent episode with you holding a big fat bunny. So cute. Who maintained the animals on set lol cheers!
Judy, thanks for your kindness & support regarding my breast cancer! Shocked me and quite honestly, I was a bit star struck! Imagine that at 55! I never thought for a minute that you'd actually read my comment let alone respond! But, thank you! It truly meant a lot! But I'm still serious about you guys doing a mini series! I believe WE NEED something like that. We'd all be interested in what became of you guys as Walton, adults! SERIOUSLY!!! Begging you! Judy, you could do this, you're Mary Ellen! KARLA in Michigan 😉✌
I just Love the Waltons; and I also Love learning the History of the characters. I felt sorry for the 2nd John Boy, it was unfair for people to expect him, to be like Richard Thomas. Hugs!
@@judynorton2598 Thank You, Judy! I am really a Waltons addict; but I don’t want a cure. It’s like the Cadillac of television programs. btw I’ve also seen you on Password. Another show I Love; and you’re at playing. Hugs from Philly.

Hi, Judy I love that you all still keep in contact with each other and get along so well ! What a beautiful bond !! The episodes are back on on my time slot on the Hallmark Channel ! I'm so happy !💃📺 🌛
I'm loving your videos and memories! You answered at least 2 of my questions here. Thanks! P. S. I think it would be neat to see a new generation of Waltons on a new series. Like all the grandchildren.
I just saw the episode again of the mountain family being forced off their land. It was a very powerful story. Then the end when Olivia and John sang the Spinning wheel song for the good night's. What a sweet ending for the show!
I love how my favorite childhood actors and actresses are on UA-cam and y'all are a little more accessible to us the General Public. I have met and hung out with some of the great people from Dukes of Hazzard and actually keep in touch with a couple of them. Thanks for being humble and entertaining us as children.
Thank you Judy. Much appreciated. I am trapped in a shoebox in the south of England. Desperate to go back to the north east and these vids are like a ray of sunshine.
Thanks again!!! I would love you hear you input on 'the minstrel' episode Where the whole family has to pick apples, but Mary Ellen follows a minstrel and wants to travel, love those Mary Ellen orientaded episodes ☺
No apology necessary! Ask anyone who (dares!) complain if they remember every day of their job from 40+ years ago. Thanks for sharing your memories with us.
Hello Judy thank you for the behind the scenes of The waltons this show for me is a national treasure and for me and my family it goes on. The scene that stands out for me is when your mother takes her first plane ride. I remember this scene like if it was yesterday it was my mother's favorite because when she was a little girl she was fascinated by airplanes and when she saw this she cried and recanted her story. I would love you to do a segment on this please thank you again and please keep these coming your fans appreciate them!
Appointment TV for the Greatest Generation, their sons and daughters. How many families watched that show together? Countless. Good to see you're out there, Judy, and doing ok.
Hi Judy! Your comments about not remembering all of the episodes are so timely and really resonated with me. I had our home movie tapes digitized just recently as surprise Christmas gifts for my 2 adult daughters (I had not watched them in probably over 20 years). I sat here and watched them and was so amazed how I did not remember much of what I was watching. I totally get it! Thank you once again for one of your great videos - they always make me smile. P.S. - love your outfit and necklace!
@@ladyagnes7781 I knew someone was going to ask that. 😂🤣 Can't remember....just going to have to watch the whole season. My daughter actually caught it...I missed it. It's so neat how several actors also played on Seventh Heaven !!
Judy, in dramatic scenes, how did you manage to show emotion such as crying? I would think that is a difficult emotion to portray. You are an awesome actress and I loved your character and how you portrayed her. ❤️
@Jim Elliott Not saying it's always easy or totally "on cue" and it does take focus. As long as you convey the honesty of the emotion it doesn't demand tears run down your face. So that pressure doesn't have to be there.
I adore you! My heart bled for you when you received the news about Kurt dying. I was crying with you and wanted to hug you so hard! Thank you for sharing about The Waltons. I love each one.
What I love most about the Waltons, was the fact it was an awesome ensemble cast, so when anyone was missing or left the show, it didn’t ruin the episodes! By the way, you look great with your hair pulled back!💫
A thought on the difference in John Boy between the 2 actors in my opinion is that, John Boy was in a coma from the war and not only can war change someone but so can being in a coma. Robert played the character in a way he thought that not only did war and the coma change him but just being older and more mature changed him.
I've always been a fan of the show and started watching when I was 12. I`m watching the show again on MeTV, which has been a great treat because I haven't seen many of these episodes since they first aired. Thank you for the behind the scenes stories!
I saw a UA-cam video in which Michael Learned said she had the pictures of her grandchildren on her fridge, including the children and grandchildren of her Walton children. It made me feel like all is right in the world. It sounds stupid, but it makes me so happy that you and the cast are still family/friends.
Hi again, thank you for sharing all of these insights of the Walton’s. Do you have photos of the set with camera crew and lighting, etc? I would like to see what you were seeing on the stage. I think you said there was no ceiling in the kitchen area or any other room for that matter. Thank you.
@@judynorton2598 I love when Maryellen went back to work in the hosp and reached out to a young mom who lost her 2 yr old son your ex fiance Dr who came out of surgery Maryellen had hugged the young mom to comfort her.I was touched by that seen.

Thank you Ms. Judy Norton for these videos. I enjoyed watching each and everyone of them you do. They are so interesting and the Walton's is my favorite tv show of all time - in the 70"s and even today. I watch episodes daily. The are wonderful memories for me to! Thanks again!
Hi Judy, Thank you for all of the wonderful memories from my favorite show as a child. I come from a large family, and my parents grew up on farms during the Depression, so I always felt very close to the Waltons. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts about the many recurring regular actors: Joe Conley, Ronnie Claire Edwards, Mary Jackson, Helen Kleeb, Merie Earle, Mariclare Costello (I went to high school with one of her nieces), John Ritter (who you already talked about in another video). Also, you had great guests, like Sissy Spacek, Bruce Davison, Merle Haggard.
If I remember right Curt was alive living somewhere else and had a girl that really liked him. Why did he not come home why did he make a new life and abandon Mary Ellen?
This is Jennifer Sinclair. I think he lost his male genitalia and was too humiliated to return to Mary Ellen. They did not say it explicitly but I interpreted it that way.
Judy, thanks for these videos! It's been so much fun learning about the Waltons show from your perspective! I didn't get to see the series when it was originally aired, especially since I was born in 1975 and I was still very young when it went off the air (and I was living overseas for a years during my early childhood, anyway.) I probably saw bits and pieces of episodes at various times when they aired on TV, but it wasn't until just a few years ago that I started watching and recording the show on a regular basis. It's hard to imagine now that there was a time when watching shows on DVDS, streaming services, cable or even VHS tapes wasn't an option, and if you didn't get to see something when it aired on TV, that was it -- you just simply missed it! And even when VCRS came along, programming them to record shows was tricky, and not everybody had the knack for it. I never did figure out how to program a VCR, but thankfully, I don't have to know how to do it now, thanks to modern technology! Anyway, with long-term unemployment and being more at home than usual, I've been watching a lot more of my favorite shows, mostly older shows like the Waltons and Little House on the Prairie (which overlapped with the same time period as the Waltons), and some of my favorite sitcoms from the 90s, since I find very few modern shows worth watching these days. Anyway, I love the videos, and I always look forward to seeing the new ones that you put out!
All I recall is Mary Ellen and David met each other at a hospital and David still had the hots for her,but Mary Ellen return the attention. Curt was deployed at the time. Don't remember the name of the episode
The last time David Spencer was seen was in late 1941, just after Curt shipped out to Pearl Harbor, so Curt wasn't missing. He was deployed. David is last seen in the episode that concerns Derrick Pembroke's complete breakdown as he paints a mural of Erin. The episode is called "The Portrait". It features a subplot of Grandma teaching a canary to sing.
For some reason, I am really very pleased to know you all keep in contact with one another. Probably because you were like my second family growing up.
I didn't ask. Since I believe it all falls under "fair use" and it's rather like doing an interview show, which I can do and talk about my memories of my time on The Waltons - I think we're all good. If my channel suddenly disappears, I guess I was wrong... :-)
After hearing this it's good to know that you guys are still The Waltons not just a show but hearing that you're still friends and living it it's wonderful

Thank you so much. When we did The Homecoming we bought a color TV to watch it on as we only had a B&W
It was a exciting event to get a color tv in those days !
Thanks so much for checking out my channel.
YOU'RE A CLASS ACT MISS JUDY🤗THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS ANSWERING MY COMMENTS IT ALWAYS MAKES ME SMILE🤗 HAVE A WONDERFUL NIGHT & IF YOU WILL ONCE AGAIN ALLOW ME TO SAY GOODNIGHT MARYELLEN FROM A LOYAL FAN OF THE WALTONS FOREVER 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Aww... thanks so much.
Thank you so much Judy for your memories of the Waltons, one of my favorite shows growing up and still is. It brings back so many memories of watching this show with my parents and my childhood. One day, I hope to visit Schuyler, Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains. God Bless.
You're welcome and I hope you get the make that trip!
Thank you ! I am truly loving the behind the scenes. Good night Judy.
Good night
You look beautiful, Judy❣️ Thank you, again for doing this ❣️
You are so welcome
I’m sorry to hear that. Very hard on families and the men and women who served.
Thanks Judy. Love your broadcasts. So informative and helps us understand what you are like as “real people”. Give the rest of the crew our love, especially David. We would love to hear from him. Don’t worry about not remembering. We will help you fill in!
Thanks so much :)
Thanks so much for sharing. I’m going to talk about The Pony Cart and Beulah Bondi next week.
I'm addicted to these videos! Already at 2049 views and this was just released today! Can't wait to see her future videos. Thank you, Judy !!
Glad you like them!
Thank you Judy, for answering the questions about the 2 John Boys. I don't think about the fact that the producers come up with ideas, without considering continuity or the rest of the cast.
Love the Q and A! Could watch for an hour or two!
Oh yay!!
Thank you so much for all of these little clips abd insights. And thanks for being so sweet.
You are so welcome!
I find it so awesome that after all these years you guys still contact each other and care for each other. that is a real family. Other tv show cast do this but yours seem to really stand out a lot in this more than I see of most others. A special thing. Thank you for letting us peak into your lives.
You're welcome :)
I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this channel! I have 7 children and they have picked out their Walton name !
How cool!
Here’s a question: Why would anyone give this a thumb’s down? Lol.
Perhaps they didn't like John Boy 2 or Kirt 2, I preferred the original character actors but, I gave a thumbs up. :) :)
Trolls
@@tkkcali I agree! Trolls.. I mean..we are talking about THE WALTONS~ They are good people!!
im sure most of them are from australia as we had our own version called the sullivans LOL
I have that same question... lol
Thanks so much. I will have to review that episode to refresh my memory.
I always enjoy seeing that
Loved the pony cart episode!
Great timing! I'm doing a segment on The Pony Cart and Beulah Bondi next week!!! Stay tuned :)
@@judynorton2598 looking forward to it! Thanks!
Thank You *Judy*For Shareing**We Love You❤❤❤🌟🌟🌟🥇🏆😊💐💐
My daughter, whose 21, saw one of your videos on my phone and instantly said "isn't she on the Waltons". The show stands the test of time. Thanks to the reruns I've watched or rewatched a majority of the episodes. I remember the later years but the show started maybe 6 months before I was born.
That is so cool!
Still so beautiful Judy, thanks 4 for all your wonderful stories. It's nice while working from home. I saw a recent episode with you holding a big fat bunny. So cute. Who maintained the animals on set lol cheers!
Aww... love bunnies :)
Thank you, Karla. I think many of the cast would enjoy that too... if only it were in our hands.
Time Put a *Spell*on You Judy*Ageless Timeless*You havent aged a day*Who agrees??
I agree. Judy has aged well.
I agree hands down. Judy, you haven't changed in years. Still as pretty as you were in 1972.

Judy big fan of the show! You look amazing.
Thank you.
I love how you all get along and treat each other as brothers and sisters!❤
Me too :)
I just Love the Waltons; and I also Love learning the History of the characters. I felt sorry for the 2nd John Boy, it was unfair for people to expect him, to be like Richard Thomas. Hugs!
Thank you for your kind comments.
@@judynorton2598 Thank You, Judy! I am really a Waltons addict; but I don’t want a cure. It’s like the Cadillac of television programs. btw I’ve also seen you on Password. Another show I Love; and you’re at playing. Hugs from Philly.
We watched the episode The Nurse. It was so touching when you were in the chapel praying for forgiveness and grandpa came in. It was an incredible scene. Thanks 😊
I think that was The Vigil.
Thank you so much.
Yes, I agree, The Vigil
Was it where Mary Ellen gave grandma heat to put on her appendix instead of ice?
@@jasonlove7061 yes that’s the one.
Hi, Judy
I love that you all still keep in contact with each other and get along so well ! What a beautiful bond !! The episodes are back on on my time slot on the Hallmark Channel ! I'm so happy !💃📺 🌛
Thanks so much
I'm loving your videos and memories! You answered at least 2 of my questions here. Thanks! P. S. I think it would be neat to see a new generation of Waltons on a new series. Like all the grandchildren.
Cool.
I just saw the episode again of the mountain family being forced off their land. It was a very powerful story. Then the end when Olivia and John sang the Spinning wheel song for the good night's. What a sweet ending for the show!
I agree.
I love how my favorite childhood actors and actresses are on UA-cam and y'all are a little more accessible to us the General Public. I have met and hung out with some of the great people from Dukes of Hazzard and actually keep in touch with a couple of them. Thanks for being humble and entertaining us as children.
My pleasure
Love these moments,i imagine the great sadness everytime one of your second family passes....keep the videos coming

I really like when you do the ask questions segments. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and research for all of us. Mary

Thank you so much for sharing these memories!
You bet!
Thank you Judy. Much appreciated.
I am trapped in a shoebox in the south of England. Desperate to go back to the north east and these vids are like a ray of sunshine.
Northumbria? Yorkshire?
So glad you are enjoying. Hang in there.
Thanks again!!! I would love you hear you input on 'the minstrel' episode Where the whole family has to pick apples, but Mary Ellen follows a minstrel and wants to travel, love those Mary Ellen orientaded episodes ☺
Great suggestion!
No apology necessary! Ask anyone who (dares!) complain if they remember every day of their job from 40+ years ago. Thanks for sharing your memories with us.
Great point!
You definitely aged well Mary Ellen 👍Absolutely loved the Waltons. I have a box set of the 1st season. Thank you, love these videos you make. X
You are so welcome!
Wonderful and thanks for the suggestion.
i love watching the waltson when you got married
Appointment TV for the Greatest Generation, their sons and daughters. How many families watched that show together? Countless. Good to see you're out there, Judy, and doing ok.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the continuing insight of the show.
Thank you so much!
There was a Faux Pas in Season 7, where Jason was wearing cords in the house, but when he exited he was in jeans 👖 🤣😅😂
Good catch.
Which episode?
@@ladyagnes7781 I knew someone was going to ask that. 😂🤣 Can't remember....just going to have to watch the whole season. My daughter actually caught it...I missed it. It's so neat how several actors also played on Seventh Heaven !!
I appreciate you sharing how the Walton's show was filmed.God bless you
You are so welcome
Judy, in dramatic scenes, how did you manage to show emotion such as crying? I would think that is a difficult emotion to portray. You are an awesome actress and I loved your character and how you portrayed her. ❤️
@Jim Elliott that’s an awful way to get tears
@Jim Elliott 🤪 I think it would be easier to simply study the craft of acting and...well... ACT.
Cultivated the craft of tears early in my career...
So kind of you. Thank you.
**Waltons Strong**💪💪💪❤❤❤❤❤🌟🌟🌟🌟😊😊😊🏆🥇
Thanks, Judy. I always enjoy hearing your memories from the show. It aired first when I was 10 y.o. and we watched it until the end.
Awesome!
I've always had a crush on Mary Ellen.
What I love most about the Waltons, was the fact it was an awesome ensemble cast, so when anyone was missing or left the show, it didn’t ruin the episodes! By the way, you look great with your hair pulled back!💫
Thank you so much.
A thought on the difference in John Boy between the 2 actors in my opinion is that, John Boy was in a coma from the war and not only can war change someone but so can being in a coma. Robert played the character in a way he thought that not only did war and the coma change him but just being older and more mature changed him.
Good answer!
Glad I never saw the series with John-Boy II
Didnt care for Robert Wightman's portrayal of John Boy. Richard Thomas was born to play John Boy.
@@shirleyleone799 Richard Thomas *is* John-Boy
Interesting perspective - thank you.
I've always been a fan of the show and started watching when I was 12. I`m watching the show again on MeTV, which has been a great treat because I haven't seen many of these episodes since they first aired. Thank you for the behind the scenes stories!
You’re welcome.
Another great video! Thank you!
When you were filming scenes around the kitchen table, how did that food actually taste?
Mostly good till it was cold. :)
I saw a UA-cam video in which Michael Learned said she had the pictures of her grandchildren on her fridge, including the children and grandchildren of her Walton children. It made me feel like all is right in the world. It sounds stupid, but it makes me so happy that you and the cast are still family/friends.
That's so sweet.
Hi again, thank you for sharing all of these insights of the Walton’s. Do you have photos of the set with camera crew and lighting, etc? I would like to see what you were seeing on the stage. I think you said there was no ceiling in the kitchen area or any other room for that matter. Thank you.
None of the tv shows have ceilings. They are filmed on a open sound stage
Gosh, I so wish I had more pictures of what the set and stages looked like. Never occurred to me to take them.
@@judynorton2598 I love when Maryellen went back to work in the hosp and reached out to a young mom who lost her 2 yr old son your ex fiance Dr who came out of surgery Maryellen had hugged the young mom to comfort her.I was touched by that seen.

I love the episode of Mary Ellen having the baby ..an Cassie tried to scare Mary Ellen with a crazy spell type saying. ..an love when Mary Ellen tells the family she was pregnant very Sweet an love Curt too ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I'm watching "The Sinner", with the debut of John Ritter. I bet he was fun to work with! Also, the swimming scenes looked fun! 😀
Yes, John Ritter was always wonderful to work with.
The episode the inferno when John Boy went to see the landing of the Hindenburg airship was an episode that I remember vividly. Enjoy your posts.
Thank you.
Thank you Ms. Judy Norton for these videos. I enjoyed watching each and everyone of them you do. They are so interesting and the Walton's is my favorite tv show of all time - in the 70"s and even today. I watch episodes daily. The are wonderful memories for me to! Thanks again!
Glad you like them!
Judy, how did you feel when all of you interviewed the real family members you portrayed, especially your character?
We loved it. It was so nice to connect with the real family members. Marion Hamner was awesome. Smart, classy...
Thanks so much for watching.
If I remember right Curt was alive living somewhere else and had a girl that really liked him. Why did he not come home why did he make a new life and abandon Mary Ellen?
Did not like that episode. Curt came off as a self-absorbed idiot...
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing.
when the war broke out... they never said anything more about what happened to David Spencer? or did they?
All I recall is Mary Ellen and David met each other at a hospital and David still had the hots for her,but Mary Ellen return the attention. Curt was deployed at the time. Don't remember the name of the episode
The last time David Spencer was seen was in late 1941, just after Curt shipped out to Pearl Harbor, so Curt wasn't missing. He was deployed. David is last seen in the episode that concerns Derrick Pembroke's complete breakdown as he paints a mural of Erin. The episode is called "The Portrait". It features a subplot of Grandma teaching a canary to sing.
Yes, David did appear in several more episodes at the hospital.
Thanks for sharing of Behind the Scenes of the Walton's.
I thought the Baldwin sisters were cute. They always were reaching out to people.
For some reason, I am really very pleased to know you all keep in contact with one another. Probably because you were like my second family growing up.
Yes we are like family for real.
Did you have to get permission from ”the higher-ups” to have this channel and talk about the show?👣
I didn't ask. Since I believe it all falls under "fair use" and it's rather like doing an interview show, which I can do and talk about my memories of my time on The Waltons - I think we're all good. If my channel suddenly disappears, I guess I was wrong... :-)
I hope it will not! Like you said.....it is your memories. Thank you for the memories.👣
