Wait you mean to tell me that that girl hair wasn’t flat ironed or blow dried when she was taking the rollers out ? Omg those results with no heat damage 😱
@TT let's talk about it Even when I detangled my hair with a detangling brush regularly, it took that long. 4c hair is not a type to expect to detangle quickly.
When I tell you I hadn't been to a salon in years because I wasn't getting good results! Smh I went to a salon just so I could get a professional trim & regretted that decision. I told the stylist I hadn't had a comb, brush, or heat in the last 6m-1yr you would've thought we had bad blood between us! First 🚩was she didn't really touch my hair before washing it (even tho I washed, lightly detangled & put it in twists that morning, prior to coming, just to make her job easier). She took my twists down, took a picture & started scrunch washing my hair (🚩). My hair is fine & easily knotted & I knew I needed a trim (told her this). There was no finger detangling (🚩) when straight to raking thru my hair (🚩). Look FF ⏩, by the time it was time to trim I was in need of a full cut! Cut off 4 to 6in (& that was not all that needed to be cut, called herself leaving some length so I wouldn't be sad)! I was shocked & with her being a *professional* I went with her judgment over my OWN! Never again! And, the finished result left my hair soft & silky but the thinnest my hair has ever felt in my life! This was March 1, 2019. I just showed my mother the pictures 3 days ago! She was speechless/shocked/mad/sad/etc.! 9mths later, hair haven't quite recovered but it's better than it was. I may have some heat damage but Idk. Haven't put any heat outside of deep conditioning & I want to get my ends cut but I'm so scared! Smh My 6th yr just passed & I did nothing but pull it down in twists to see the length. It's so many different lengths now. I'm sad just thinking about. But, it is getting better. I said all this just to *praise* stylists like Eden! 🙌🏾 She is a gift to the natural community & 1 day she will bless this head (God willing 🙏🏾) & I have not a doubt in my mind that if she felt the need to cut me bald, I know she'd be doing the best for my hair (I wholeheartedly believe that)❣s/n: I still tipped the stylist & she charged me for added cut! 😂 Smh Thank you Eden for caring for our hair❣
I love that you cut JUST her ends thank you for that sister...thanks because many beauticians would have been scissor happy especially with knowing that it had been 4 years.
Her wool is beautiful!! It’s the prettiest hair in the world!! 😍 I personally would have stopped at the roller set. It looks big and bouncy and that heat mannnn it only takes once no matter who does it, But it’s pretty
Atara Israel I considered stopping at the roller set and even asked if ppl just stopped there lol but I did a length check so I wanted it straight lol thank you!
Beautiful! I’ve always believed that sitting under the dryer with rollers for a silk press is the best way to keep your hair healthy 🙌🏽 But I feel like most stylist don’t have the skill or the patience to roller set thick type 4 hair :/
I don't believe it cuz your hair would just be too nasty it would smell bad and anyone I've seen that hasn't comb their hair whether they are black or white they have dreads especially in 4 years ...lol
My hair strands are really fine do finger detangling can only work for me for so long. I started as of yesterday to blow out my hair to reduce tangles so will see how it goes. Hopefully I will retain more than 3” of growth per year which I think I did before I jumped on the finger detangling bandwagon 🙏🏾
When i use to only finger detangle. I kept all my inches. Then I caved and start using styling tools sigh. Then that’s when i needed trims. Going to go back, to finger detangle more. I only use to use comb when parting. Styling tools cause extended breakage. Especially the combs for ☝️
When you can wash roller set flat iron using a rat tail comb on kinky dry hair never put the comb down to remove broken strands you know you got skills on FLEEK. 😭😩😍❤️💯
Just beautiful! Yessss natural hair! Love this. I wish my hair was course enough to do low manipulation, but sadly it's so fine it breaks if I dont detangle with a big/medium comb monthly. Great outcome.
There's a difference between nice and kind, and you my friend are kind. You can tell by the delicacy and love you did her hair with. This looked amazing!
Can't wait to come down. I had to cancel my appt., but will be rescheduling very soon towards September. This turned out beautiful Eden. And I love your patience in making sure all her hair was untangled even after the set. I've not visited a salon in over five years. I do detangle with a similar brush but just once or twice a month. So excited can't wait. Michigan Fan, bound for Atlanta 😊
tee sea I wish I could find someone comparable without burning your hair out. It's worth it, Atlanta is like 2nd home family n friends await my arrival too😊
This was a great video and you are a great stylist!!! You took your time and you were very gentle... also I love the way that you preserved her hair at the end!(That's how I know you are great.)because another stylist would've chopped so many inches off at the start of the split ends but you gave her a v shape to retain length! I wish you were near...
Black women have such a hard way to go with their hair. If a Black woman wears her hair natural then it’s all good in tha hood and she looks cute; but if a Black woman straightens her hair then she’s trying to show the world that she has “good hair” that’s more relatable to a white woman and she doesn’t really want to own her blackness. Black women can’t win when it comes to hair, but I happen to believe that all Black women are beautiful and have beautiful hair. 🙏🏾❤️
While her results I don’t feel like people should feel “bad” if they do use maintenance tools. I see some of those comments. Personally, I’ve tried finger detangling for quite awhile and my hair was falling out in droves not to mention the feather knots even with proper trims. Ironically, my scalp reverted back to being tender-headed which is something I’ve NEVER been in the 7 years I’ve been natural. Just do what works for you ❤️
If the client wanted heat then why do you think your opinion matters. I haven’t used heat in 4 years but that’s my personal choice...y’all be weird sometimes.
OGCmillz I say use heat at your own risk sum Naturals neva get heat damage and others can jus look at a flat iron and get heat damage. I personally don’t or have I ever used heat on my natural hair. I just like nappy Kinky of the kinkiest hair 😂🤦🏽♀️🙄
You did a fantastic job! Did you deep condition her hair? What kind of heat protectant did you use? I love how you trimmed off only what was needed. Thanks for posting this video. 😊

I like the roller set best. Wash, steam conditioning, set, and go. That's all folks.
I HATE videos with no sound! But your technique and the way you gently cared for her hair kept me locked in till the end! 🤗 Great job and Tfs!
Thank you so much ❤️ I am working on the sound 😘
This was so soothing to watch!
That’s a great trim to many stylists get carried away
Beautiful! I’ve always believed that sitting under the dryer with rollers for a silk press is the best way to keep your hair healthy 🙌🏽 But I feel like most stylist don’t have the skill or the patience to roller set thick type 4 hair :/
I need to find a hairdresser like this MD. I am natural for 2plus years and I want to wear my own hair no extenstions. You took your time amazing !!
If I only finger combed my hair in a month I would have dreads 😕🤦🏾♀️
mel big facts my hair dreads just when I wash it , I don’t know how she did this lol
Let’s Try -N -See w Dyna B the struggle 🤣🤷🏽♀️
its not even an option thats just nasty..
The results were beautiful.
Her hair had body, movement and shine, using minimal heat. Great job!
What an amazing hair type to have. Gorgeous results, I hope your client was very happy because her hair looks glossy, sleek and evenly thick.
You learn something new everyday...I’ve never heard of someone not using a comb or brush and only finger detangles their hair...Beautiful Hair!!!!
ThickMadam85 were a whole community of ginger detanglers out here! Lol
does this have no sound or am i going def
Lmao it dose not.
@@hairstylesbyeden1 where r u located?😀
I was wondering too. Got me turning my volume up
Are y'all slow or just seeking attention?
BTS_infires_me shut up please
The client took excellent care of her hair.
keisha white thank you! It’s a regimen. Once a week wash and Deep Condition. I appreciate the kind comments.
@@earphbound720 what else do you do? Your hair looks so long and healthy
Cheyenne Michelle-Rena follow me on IG: @earphgrown I have a video of my regular routine and the products I make and use. 💖
@@earphbound720 you DID that girl!!! #kudos
I appreciate the time you took to detangle her hair. I don't go to stylist because I think their too rough. If I was in your area I would come to you
One of the best people I've seen do hair. You're so gentle and you take your time 🙌
Wow! Her hair is so healthy. Makes me proud of "my" 4c hair.
her hair is gorgeous 😩 and you are talented ! 😍
I loved how much care you took with her hair and the results are BEAUTIFUL. Her hair was beautiful before and after. FABULOUS!😍
When the rollers come out, the hair is so beautiful!!!! You ladies are gorgeous.
shoooottt! maybe I need to not comb or brush my hair for awhile! Her hair is JUICY!
Alex Danelle I stopped using brushes and combs for a while and I retained a lot more length it works ☺️cause you break off your hair a lot less
Natural and healthy 😍love it
You're super gifted. Love the wet set as well as the straightened hair. Thank you for sharing!
Nothing feels nicer than getting your hair washed by a professional ❤️
Just beautiful! Yessss natural hair! Love this. I wish my hair was course enough to do low manipulation, but sadly it's so fine it breaks if I dont detangle with a big/medium comb monthly. Great outcome.
When I come to Atlanta this summer, I would absolutely love to get the opportunity to get my hair done at your salon. The results are amazing❤️
Oh my goodness you are so gifted and her hair is gorgeous 💜💜
I don’t comb or brush my hair either , finger detangling is the secret to growing long healthy hair for type 4 hair
Omg her hair is so healthy!! I don't understand how to finger comb😞
You did a great job!!
ALLLLLL I CAN SAY IS WOW THATS BEAUTIFUL.I WILL ONE DAY DO MY SISTER HAIR THAT WAY.THANK YOU 💫😇💫
There's a difference between nice and kind, and you my friend are kind.
Sad you have to fly that far too get your hair done...
tee sea I wish I could find someone comparable without burning your hair out. It's worth it, Atlanta is like 2nd home family n friends await my arrival too😊
@@Occupy23 did you finally get your hair done by her?
Not yet, I'll be down there in November. I haven't straightened my hair in a few years!!
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Bravo! Love love love!!! Definitely doing my own hair like this, no more harmful chemicals putting on my hair.
That is some gorgeous hair! This looks so fun!
This is beautiful! You just washed and conditioned her hair, roller set and flat iron for these results. Awesome!
Girl, you have talent! You are an amazing stylist
Just lovely from beginning to end. Her hair is absolutely beautiful! Such an excellent job! 👏 Thank you for sharing😊
Just do what works for you ❤️
Loved the hair I wish flat iron was not used.... but still beautiful hair.
Right! It's gorgeous both ways and obviously her #stylist is professional...I rarely flat iron or blow dry my hair cuz I'm afraid of the damage 😨
Yea it says NO HEAT DAMAGE... then she uses a flatiron... I thought the rollers would do the trick
Yeah but I think not too much damage done at all.. You can tell she used minimum heat and was very gentle..
Who ever this is doing her hair you are freakin awesome. Now that’s how you take care of your clients 💝
Her natural hair is so beautiful, I can tell it's very soft and hydrated!
You did a fantastic job! Did you deep condition her hair? What kind of heat protectant did you use? I love how you trimmed off only what was needed. Thanks for posting this video. 😊
Thank you so much. Yes I did a steam treatment on her and I used. Kenta heat protecting.
Sonia Stovall o
Wha...😍 *stops combing and brushing my hair for 4 years* lmao
You have blessed hands!
You laid that hair!💯
I Enjoyed watching this entire video......Her Hair is Gorgeous... The Stylist results are Phenomenal 😃
Fabulous!!
Wow! So beautiful!
Love your natural texture no matter what 💕
My Gawd!! Its so beautiful, healthy like pure silk. 💖
Looks like a really good sew in 😍 but it’s all her own
Who agrees it looked better fresh out of the rollers???
Sky's the Limit! Forever Young I do , I wouldn’t dare put that heat to my hair . Now her hair will probably start breaking
Absolutely gorgeous results!
I am impressed. I appreciate the talent/gift that you and others have.
wow! can't believe what I'm seeing. you didn't run your hands all over her head into a big tangle and you actually took your time detangling her hair. I think you know just what 4c hair needs. I don't know where you are but it sure would be nice to visit your salon. wonderful video. tfs
Thank you so much ❤️ place do I am in Atlanta.
ilove how she never put that comb down !!! just wonderful
I am REALLY in love with this technique for straightening natural hair. It’s much more gentle that the traditional blowout with a paddle or round brush.
Hey hair is so beautiful. I can tell she has been taking great care of it 😍
Am I the only one who loves her kinky hair the most? ❤️The straight hair is okay, but everyone spots straight hair, fake or not anyway.😁
Athena X right! If I knew my hair was like this growing up I would of never did weave or relaxer! Why would it looks like that!! 😍😍
I like the kinky hair most too because of the #texture. It's a sensory thing I guess 😏
Thank you!!!
I don’t it’s looks shiny and healthy straight when it was kinky I actually thought it was matted
My hair also thrives when I care for it myself.
Miss Eden, you are sooooooooo talented. Great job as usual. Her hair is beautiful.
Yasss!!! This looks amazing.
