Seen these guys live three times. They're like a fucking drug, just can't get enough. Best live act ever, no arguments. People are hating on the Catharsis album, I think it's epic. These guys won't be around forever, savour the time they'll take to tour for their fans, three hour sets and a genuine love for their fans. Rare to see these days. MACHINE FUCKIN' 'EAD!!!

I love how Machine Head keeps experimenting after so much time, and still keeps putting out solid albums. I prefer their older work, but this is definitely still a great song!

As a long term MH fan (since 94' and counting) I can't believe there are so many cry-baby comments from TRVE METHVVL warriors who cannot deal with musical variety and experimentation. You don't like this? Fine, listen to something else. It's not bad just different. In fact it's a great track. I personally would rather listen to this than 'Who we are' for example which for me wasn't a successful experiment by the band 'Is there anybody out there' too. I love Machine Head and always will. I might not always love everything they do but they remain, for me, one of the greatest bands of all time.
I don't hear any sort of experimentation here. On the contrary, this is radio-friendly as hell. And the part of the album that isn't as radio-friendly has Robb trying to be hard vocally and lyrically beyond the threshold of cringe.
Put simple, it's not the change in style itself that bugs the people, it's the quality of that change.
Mate they've gone backwards in a massive way it's so cringey now this band I held above metallica at one stage now my skin just crawls everything from his vocals to their playing now just sucks balls if ever a band never stayed true to them selves this is it. Robb is just a whiny childish bitch

Upon my initial listen I wasn't too impressed but after around 20 listens or so, I'm really liking this. The chrous alone is what kept me coming back and giving it more listens. I appreciate the beauty of this song and can relate to it in a sense. I think we as MH fans tend to just want the same formula over and over and want BME or The Blackening Part Duece but how boring would that be!? I respect and am liking this new direction they are going in. I think the rest of the album will give us Metal Junkies our fix of the heaviness.

I've loved Machine Head since the Though the Ashes of Empires era, I discovered them then. But is my favorite album, Unto the Locust is a very close second, because of the lyrics.
