Thats so risky and i have been on that many time since i am a fish filleter and fillted many swordfish and sharks as you will see on my videos but you guys rock it.
It’s funny how the big eye never has much food supplies or bait. Being the smallest boat I dont see how his expenses are so high. Think he just says that to rip everyone off. Hell catch more than the bigger boats sometimes and his crew gets less than them. Makes no sense.
That fool of a captain on the Big Eye is a big jerk. They should not help him. He always depends on the code to save his sorry butt but he will never help anyone else. Give em food and water to get to the dock but no bait for that jerk.
Those Japanese boats have entire tackle shops in there foward holds the American boats cant compete with them.thats how they get by the language barrier.cut and clip the other guys gear
USA waters we regulate the heck out of the tuna and that’s why these guys go hundreds of miles out of USA waters. Our bluefin Tuna are doing well in the New England waters. We protect them thankfully. We could do way more but we do more than Japan. That’s for sure. They should go fish their waters...Oh yea they have nothing left.

I was out there last week in my 16ft Lund.. Caught 12,000lbs in 3 hour's on my ice fishing rods. Livewell was packed full..
