Bro nice run! About 2 months ago I was waiting for my mk6 to get repaired at the dealership and decided to test drive a 2020 GTI. It actually happened to be the techs car who traded it in for a mk8. They said the warranty was void because he installed an is38 on it with an aftermarket exhaust and tune. At the time, I didn’t realize what the is38 was. On the first test drive I walked a Charger scat pack and got flipped off. 😂 It caught me off guard to be honest. I underestimated how much power these cars make. Shortly after, my mk6 ended up becoming my trade in! And I walked out with the Mk7.5! 🙏🏿🤣

I drive a mk7.5 GTI and I'm shocked at the sheer potential this car has. Gonna turn mine up soon. Theres a coyote with open pipes that drives me nuts in my neighborhood and as soon as I can I'm gonna embarrass him in my gti.
Good runs, but I also noticed youre shifting super late til redline. I dont know how your tune is, but most fall off after around 5.5-6k. Maybe try shifting earlier to stay in the powerband.

Is38 and full bolt on he’d be at 380 -400 whp . Had a buddy with that setup on eqt e85 custom tune make 410 to the wheel on the dyno . Weather was 50 degrees so it was giving all the boost
@@Jose_bello_Jr im dynoed by goodspeed over in az, very worth it my tune gives me a smooth claimed 400 on good fuel but i think dynos are a lil off mayb so more like 390 and bc our cars run similar only difference is my 6 speed manual and im full apr harware and software btw, love it tho man clean build
@@marcusgodoy2554 I can tell you no ots tune is making near 400whp on a is38 which includes Apr. More like 340-360whp. Customs tunes with proper fueling like e85 from a hpfp/lpfp upgrade max around 400-410whp.
@@masonblack2599 i've seen hybrid is20's reach 400whp. Check out sportymk7, he has a hybrid is20 (although not the EQT vortex) and he's pushing a lot of ponies.

Apply throttle to spool the turbo, drag brakes enough to prevent acceleration, then release and blast off. haha

Nope never Dynoed! 93 tuned on EQT & 5150 e30 tune both for my is38
EQT should be around 350
5150 should be around 380
