Thanks, Sensei. I will definitely have more use with the Mini than the A2. I will be more reassured riding the Mini at speed vs. with the A2. That beeping sound with the A2 at speed really irked me. The DIY seat will allow me to ride the Mini the way I do with the V13 too but with the added nimbleness and greater torque.
Thanks. I wanted to put the grab bar in the back to good use so it was able to help in support of the extended seat. The great plus of my DIY is the easy access to the trolley handle which is a big plus. Seated riding is so much more roomy now.
@xxninjakittysxxplaysroblox9431 Thanks. I have yet to try fitting the Mini in my locker. The Mini does look slightly wider than the A2. It would certainly be a huge plus if it does fit. Will update here when I find out.
I love my Commander Mini. Now over 4,000 miles. Beware though as we have had issues with failed motherboards while riding. Including me getting dumped while seated at 30 mph.
@@Signetring54 I hope you weren’t too badly hurt. How many miles did you have when you had the motherboard failure? Where and when did you get the Mini? Was there still warranty on the motherboard? I got the Mini used with only 650 miles from a reliable seller (Tim Ng). He bought it from EUC deals 10 months ago. Unfortunately, the warranty has passed now.
@@AdamU1016 Luckily I was fully geared up, so the gear took all the road rash, but I bruised my shoulder pretty badly, and it took about 10 weeks to heal. I'm back riding now, after installing the new motherboard, and taking it easy for the first couple of days on mph to make sure there was not another issue involved. After a month, I'm back to regular riding again with a new understanding and appreciation that EUC riding is dangerous, and not for the faint of heart. I can't emphasize enough to people just how important it is that an electronic component can fail at any time, so be fully prepared for the worst thing that can happen. I'm with you though. I love my Mini for its nimbleness, and a second wheel that just arrived a couple of days ago, a Sherman L, for longer range street rides. I appreciate your videos. By the way, the newer version Mini's have upgraded shocks that provide a much more pleasurable ride, much softer. It has really been a game changer for my Mini, and it's like having a new EUC with the switch out. I can send you a pick showing the difference in the physical characteristics of the two different shocks side by side if you are interested.
@ The nimbleness of the Mini makes it such a pleasure to ride. Such a big difference indeed from my V13. Riding the Mini is almost effortless. Having the extended seat version made seated riding on the Mini similar to when I am on my V13. Yes that would be great if you can show me the difference between the new and old suspensions.
@@patrickmckowen2999 I just keep the Mini in my car trunk. I whip it out when I have a gap of cases at work especially on the weekends. Sometimes I would leave it in the call room.
@@dantemarcos1410 The T4 was actually supposed to be my second wheel. I was eyeing the T4 Pro for awhile. However, I got a great deal on this Commander Mini when a trusted rider and seller was selling his Mini with low mileage. It was in great functional and cosmetic condition too. I traded in my A2 plus some cash. The combo of V13 and Commander Mini covers all the positives of most wheels out there. Two is enough for me.
Any controller can fail no matter what brand. One of my rider friends has the V14 and his controller had issues too. Lucky for him EWheels replaced his motherboard for free. I have the V13 and do love riding it at high speed. However, I always make sure to wear full gear knowing full well that the electronics can fail anytime too. Unfortunately, that’s the risk we take riding these fantastic wheels. The best that we can do is always gear up and to just take good preventative care of our wheels.
Why should he get a slower wheel and risk cutting out? Ive hit 50mph on the mini (documented on my channel) while i was beeping without trying on the v14 at 36-37mph. Im not sure to understand this advice.
@@Ronin_Ryder That’s reassuring to hear coming from you, Ronin. I have better peace of mind riding the Mini on the street than on my A2. The A2 is still awesome but I only wanted to have 2 wheels in my stable which is enough for me. The Mini is an excellent wheel that covers both the positives of an A2 and a V13. Happy Holidays!
@@AdamU1016 This is not true. Begode controllers have the mosfets in wrong layout and some mosfets are working harder than others. This causes premature failure. Send a picture of your power stage to an electrical engineer and he will tell you more about it.. The v13 power stage is very good and the only one i trust. I have a begode wheel too but i use it for racing on track days
Id love a commander mini but nobody in the uk sells them. I think its a very under rated wheel.
That’s a shame. The portability and power of the Mini makes it suitable for both scenarios whether it’s a mellow ride or an aggressive group ride.
Nice choice Adam! The Commander Mini is Beast! Awesome video. Thanks for sharing!

That's great I use the yoga block on my A2. The mini looks nice😊
The seat mod is definitely a lot better, well done.

Does the Master V2 shares the same control board as the commander mini?
Where do you keep your Mini at work, locker is too small now 😁
