Great to see you back out enjoying nature with your son & Leo. I lived in Florida over 30 years, now back visiting family and wearing sweat pants and long sleeve.
Good to see you out with the kid! 😊 Just a bit of post-Thanksgiving weather trivia for you. I called my aunt, who lives in Florida the day after the holiday, and it was warmer here in Newfoundland than it was there! 😂
If you go right on the FT where you parked instead of left you go to big shoals, just a couple miles down. A couple of cool spots to camp for an overnighter.
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 good to see you , Leo and Aiden out on trail. Brought back great memories of watching you on th AT. Glad your thumb is healing well. Looking forward to part 2 😊
🚶🐕🦺👟👟🚶♂️👟👟⛺🌞 great to see you back out doing what you really enjoy glad your thumb is healing up and it's awesome you have your son with you is he prepping for the AT stay safe and happy hiking 💯💪🏆🏆🏆
I'm sure hiking in a flat area is very different! The river is beautiful. I watched a show on PBS, America Outdoors about the Suwanee River. It was very interesting. 😊
Good to see you and Leo back on trail. Very nice to have Aiden there to share the adventure with as well. Glad your thumb is healing. As I watched this video, the vegetation looked just like Hunting Island here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. The island is an undisturbed habitat and not commercialized, but there is a fee. There is a campground that allows all forms of camping, including large campers, but it is on one side of the island only. And it has a lighthouse🐬. I love being a "flatlander"!
update Mike im Headed to Boots off Hostel to help with damage and do some trail maintenance with TEHCC and others ! Ramdino hooked it up after all the searching God Bless Pet LEO for me!
How many ticks did Leo pick up? Knowing Florida and the number of ticks, I would think it would be considerable. Anyway, its great seeing you guys out hiking again.

We got a couple, but he has a seresto collar and is on flea tick and heartworm pills. It wasn’t that bad being as cold as it was.
Which trailhead did you start at? and did you NOBO or SOBO. Thanks
@@brockf7657 we started at the bell springs trailhead heading west
