Never had issue's with Zpacks and have found them as good if not better than other UL brands. Alot of people dont know how to look after ultralight gear and create failures. Your pack looks like its setup and packed very poorly with load lifters going straight out and pack flopping to one side. I do think Zpacks is overpriced but I havnt found a UL pack anywhere near as comfortable as the Arc Haul for ME!

Isnt hyperlite mountain gear unbound 2 I thought was DCF material as well. Am I wrong there?

I am not sure if you told us on your AT videos. If you did, I missed it. Which drone were you using for some of the shots on this short FT series?

I recently completed this section of the FT. When I came across this bridge I remembered your video showing us the ledge. I really wanted to tent right on that ledge for the night but it was too early for me to stop. I now plan on returning to do the section and making sure I stop at this secret stop and camp right on that ledge where that fire ring is at. Great 90 degree turn of the river and great for the sunrise. Thanks.

I've had good luck with Keen. Though they tend toward the heavy side they have been extraordinarily durable.

Thanks for the review I was just going to buy my brother the toaks and brs set up but I’ll get him this instead as I’ve had many of the same gripes!

For decades I thought I wanted to hike the AT until I discovered UA-cam some years ago and it made it seem like a crowded night club. To me, a nightmare! Especially any story involving sleeping in the shelters, ugh! But aren't there stretches where you are REQUIRED to use the shelters? Can't just sling a hammock any ol' place? Thanks!

GA mtn’s😊 Great video and would love to get one of these sometime for the truck, wife would love it! One other option for stove, there are several low profile stoves that are a bit more stable and have the propane tank on the side - one/two burners, inexpensive, use whenever I’m out taking the fam camping

Wow, and you don’t have to worry about setting up your tent in a puddle. Only works on a pickup I assume. The floor of that must be quite sturdy. Great to meet you again on the Foothills Trail!
