THANK YOU! I can tell by the way you explain things clearly and easily that you don't work for Adobe. In 9 minutes you answered a question that I couldn't find the answer for!
Have been struggling to understand how to move the pictures without manually resizing as the full resolution was giving me a headache. Thanks so much! This was the first video that helped me.
Thank you very much! I have learned using InDesign by myself for many years on a rather basic level and this video filled in some of the gaps in my knowledge. Very useful and very easy to understand.
This is a very helpful tutorial. I used InDesign for a magazine project and wish I would have known about creating the grid option. I did know about placing, fitting and scaling images. I need to work on using the Pen tool to create custom shapes. I believe there a tool in Illustrator or Photoshop that lets you choose from custom shapes.
Thank You Bro!!! Life saver, doing design so I can get better at thumbnails and shit for my channel, and I gotta take this class, it's an Indesign Course. LO thank you man, great info!!!
Thank You, very well done! All I wanted to do was make about 30 pictured name tags. I've been struggling for days in MS Word. You cut it down to minutes.
Hello! Very helpful video! Could you please tell me how to place/import an image so that it becomes an integral part of the document (and not a link to the file)?
Great video. I had a question... If I have a few vector images which I've placed within a shape frame... how do I take them out the shape frame without having to select each vector image individually? Is there an option/button to take all the objects out from a frame in one go? I don't want to delete these vector images within the shaped framed I just want to have them placed outside the shape frame as opposed to inside the shape frame (without using Ctrl Z, of course). I would really appreciate your help, I've searched for this for a few months now. Thanks!
great tutorial. i’m trying to find out how to crop an elliptical image that bridges the seam between the 2 pages in a spread. i know i’m not using the proper terms here bc i’m not a trained graphic designer, but i’ll try to explain... i have a circle and i’m placing it near the center of the spread. i want to crop off one side of it so it only appears on one page and it will have one flat edge.. how do i do that?
how can i make the parts of the image that are behind the frame visible? I`m working with a large image thats being placed into a very tiny frame, so its very inconvenient to only be able to see a little square and not the whole image
When I tried to place the image in the shape, it put only a part of the image in the shape where the image was so large, and I could never readjust the size of the image to fit it into the shape?
when i export indesign with videos to epub the epub page size gets all out of proportional, whats the best page size in pixels in indesign to fit perfectly in epub
It's my first time ever using InDesign & I was totally confused, this was extremely helpful. Thanks a million.
