I don't believe the professionals can measure the emotion and soul Gary put into his music. There are very few guitarists who measure up to Gary. His music will live forever with me, and I am passing this on to my teenage kids.
I was at this concert standing about 4 feet away from him...I can still remember what he was wearing.....and ill never forget what I heard as it is etched in my memory forever...
My friend dragged me to this show when I was 17 because I played guitar and I owe him big time! Gary blew everyone away and you could tell by his reaction to the crowd there that he appreciated it. I remember him stopping multiple times and just looking out at all of us with an ear to ear smile, shaking his head then going on and on much to our approval. I was lucky.
I’m sorry even though I am an Eric Clapton fan, Gary would’ve left him in the dust if they would’ve played against each other. Hands down. He’s as close to Jimi as they would ever come in 10 lifetimes. RIP Gary Moore, still shocking everyone with the style of playing and raw talent! Force of nature!
Dear Gary. Jeff was not the only one. You were not the only one. We are all loners. There have been many good guitarists or musicians but only a few could tough out hearts like you. I believe you are now jamming with Randy, Jimi up there, aren't you? Thank you for your legacy. RIP I miss you.
I recognize the 'Victims of the Future' outfit at 08:43....it was my one and only tour I got to see and hear Gary in concert. He opened for Sammy Hagar and it still ranks as a top 10 show of 100's I've seen. Miss you Gary, God bless and rest.
Me too. Amazing show! It was the last show on the tour. His voice was hoarse but his playing was stellar as usual! Got to meet him briefly afterwards. Also, spoke a little with Bob Daisley before Gary came out after the show. (I even remember the "fuck yeah" guy) RIP Gary. Still can't believe he is gone.
i was at this show at the paradise....back in the day it was where all the new upcoming acts came to showcase their talents....i still remember the outfit he had on that night, and his playing ill never forget...also saw ac/dc there with bon scott taking everyones drinks off the tables and downing them...it was also a night to remember...alas the paradise doesnt cater to well known acts any longer....for whats its worth....long live the paradise and all who amazed us there...r.i.p.gary moore
Was there that night he was playing a white Charvel Jackson yelled out my friends name before he went into the lead to Military Man, had the cassette but lost it.
Amazing show! WBCN broadcasted it live. I set it to record while I was at the show and still have the cassette complete with DJ Carter Alan's commentary! I have the video of the Sweden show which was the same tour but earlier and in an arena. Incredible to see and hear him up close in the Paradise.

Thats so true and great job educating your kids to his music. Even I was introduced to Gary Moore from my father and have been hooked ever since.

Jeff Beck and Gary Moore..
I hear they have reached a specific part of emotion into the guitar...that others never have touched with guitar...

he was a loner~~~~~~~he was a loner...............
The castle we see here, is that the Dunluce Castle??
his guiter playing will be missed.
@mmusicman11 wow...
Anyone know if Gary used a pedal into a clean channel, or he used a drive section on a Marshall or Soldano?
Boost pedal on the drive channel on Marshall jtm45
@2:19
he was walking with Phil in the video, which was very poignant at this part of the song as well
where is this from?
