The Electrical voltage there is 230 volts AC at 50 Hz. So if you want to bring a hair dryer or a curling iron, make sure you either bring a transformer or bring a dual voltage hair dryer and curling iron.
Great video and channel! I'm thinking of going to Greenland soon, but don't have much time, could you recommend a minimum amount of time to spend there? Thanks in advance!
Ohhh, how long are you thinking? I guess you could do Nuuk or East Greenland in about three/four days, but I'd recommend a week and taking in a couple of places. Nuuk being the capital is by far the easiest place to get to though!
Thanks for the reply - I'd originally been planning to go during October, but I read that that's not the best time to go (is that accurate?!). The only other time I could do is August, but only for 10 days or so, so wondering if that's sufficient or not. Thanks again.
I'd say August is a much better time to go than October. Already in October it'll be pretty dark and cold, so best to utalise the best weather if you can!
To be honest with you, the best way of getting around is by boat or flying. Here's a little post about the boat (www.anadventurousworld.com/travelling-arctic-umiaq-line/) and check AirGreenland for their flights and routes!

Awesome! Thank you so much!
I'm planning a trek in September, hopefully I'll see the Northern lights. Thank you for sharing.
