- Here is a little jam over Seal's "Crazy" played with the setup I use at my solo gigs. That's a GR-55 And a RC-300.
- It's far from my best vocal performance I admit that :-D
But hey.....it's a sleepy Thursday morning, it's take one and just for fun......
Hope you enjoy :-)
Per Haar
By the way...here is a link to a little tutorial I did on how I set up my RC-300 and GR-55.
• How to use GR-55 & RC-...
Just rediscovered this after a number of years. Still as good as I remembered
this popped up and I thought give it a go...Glad I did....my favourite song and done so well....
I’ve probably watched this video 25 times in las ten wks and played your version of this song at an open mic night ..... after I played this I was king for the night... congrats my friend and thanks 👍
Per- SO glad to see that you put this video back up again. I guess you took it down for a while..? GREAT cover, great arrangement, and great looping. Really enjoy this. Thanks for sharing!
Great hearing/seeing how u produce a recording studio sound LIVE and on the fly. Unique artistic/tech combo! (sub)
I had purchased gr-55 and a Looper believe it was RC 300 or 500 I forget I remember just using these two pedals together so much fun it was like 2012 I spend a lot of money on this stuff
Before anybody asks did it make you a better guitar player? or proclaiming that it probably didn't? The answer is exactly what you want either which way.
I honestly enjoy listening to this version better than Seal's! Thanks. Rock on!!
Hey, got reminded of the song by a new animation movie called Team Seal. Where looking for a punchy version and let me say - wow man, you have a really good voice, the passion and love for music vibes through the speakers, thank you. And the guitar and looping skills are crazy. Wow man, good job 👏🏼
Cool 🎸🎶🤗
Thank you!
I love this. How are you getting those deep kick drum sounds?
I Love it and do not mind your sleepy Thur. .. it is enough spirit involved :)
today I listen it for 11 time at least
Thank you for sharing and inspiring
This version is just CRAZY ! Wonderful job.
+Laurent Lefeivre > Thanks a lot! :)
That comeback at 5:46 is top notch
wanting to learn looping and this has been the best how to video I have come across so far, thank you, keep up the good work.
That was great! Nicely done.
Your just amazing.Wat a he'll of a twist on this song.you are absolutely amazing with your guitar. Well done my friend.wow
Another inspirational video Per. Awesome work.
You good be the winner of the Boss loopcontest 2012 I loved it
In the middle of being impressed by the looping, you threw that solo at me! wow... that's some nice playing!
You deserve a Roland endorsement. As a guy that has an RC-50 and GR-33 you got my attention. Fantastic, man....great stuff.
I'm impressed by the sonic quality of your performance. Most loop covers lack bottom end. This one sounds fully balanced. And you play amazing guitar as well. :)
Excellent that's all I can say!
great talent. Per ,your my hero.
Great Job,Per..you make it really musical. Some people use the same tools and it just sounds like a demonstration..you make it sound like a song. And no worries about the vocal..I wouldnt have walked out.
Gotta get me an RC-300. Very nice cover. Good work.
Very cool, superior timing and playing skills
Thanks :)
Great setup!
I just got my RC-300 3 weeks ago, and I love it.
Saw it now... Musician and magician...
i dont understand why stuff like this doesnt get more appreciated and virwed... This stuff is very talented and a real bitch to program.. Even the learning curve involved deserves a definate award.... Nevermind mixing and setting up patches, by the end, I would be lucky to even play guitar and get it right without being overwhelmed and stressed... You make it still look like your having fun. obviously you have put some serious time in, in order to make it look so easy... Good job man!
dude just love it realy nice .perfect my friend wow
Only one word........wow!
simply excellent
Yeaaah Great perform my Friend .... VERY GOOD COVER ... Five*
Per, your playing and the use of the rc 300 and gr 55 are amazing! I have watched your other videos and your playing is very natural and really fun to watch! I have been using both units for years but I do not sing which is a challenge for using these units live. I really have a lot of fun using these units and playing percussion on my acoustic guitar along with my electric setup! your work and your videos are really an inspiration and I just wanted to thank you for sharing!
Dude that was great, I've been toying with the idea of getting a GR55 and a RC300. I already have a GR20 I've been playing for a while now. But after seeing your video I'm getting them. Again great job bro.
If you follow the link under the video, there is a tutorial on how i set everything up and so on. I also explain my little system to remember the "footsteps" :)
- And I'm sorry, but I don't know that one. Ill make sure to check it out!
/Per
damn, i am thoroughly impressed
OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
Well done dude, you've definitely got the whole looping thing down pat. Just remembering all the tap dancing moves would be hard enough. Great solo too
Wow, very cool! Great job
Bra takk =)) I really liked the jeff scott soto/ Talisman as it was real different. This is totally different again. Brilliant, good Job
Very nicely done, love my LGXT!
Very good job I have never tried looping but you have piqued my interest Thank You
I'll look forward to it, in the meantime I will study this carefully and see what I can work out, though your playing is far better than mine I would love to be able to play a version of this.
Thanks!!
The funny thing is that it was after watching one of YOUR videos, that I decided to buy the guitar and the GR-55 just before christmas last year :-D
So thank you a lot for that...!
You're amazing man.
Good job man! I already own a GR55 and I have always thought that the natural companion if you want to perform in total freedom without getting bored rehearsing with all the band (I love to play with the band but often circumstances don't allow to have one...) is to get a loop station: you confirmed my intuition is right! Soon my GR55 won't be alone any more...! ;-)
Keep posting new videos about your setup and the way you use loop station!
Thanks :) Check the link under the video for more info on how I set the audio up. My camera is a Canon 500D. I think it's called a Rebel in US :)

Thanks for the great tut. I am keyboard player, wanting to use the RC300 for a solo thing. This helped.
Great arrangement. I have a similar setup but haven't gotten this far in creating a live sound. Keep up the great work.
Good job man! It's so beatiful. Greetings from Chile!
GREAT Job!!!
Thanks a lot!
I have added a link to a little tutorial I din on how I connect everything, and the sounds I use and so on, under the descreption of this video. Please check that out for more information :-)
Great Job!!!

Hey Per, Just Keep it up, Man 'cause you just get better and better. Thanks for this video. Truly Inspiring. How about one of your own songs next time? Soon ? Plz?
I found you on YT about 6 months ago sharing your setups with us and then your jewel of a number, thanks man.
Muy buena interpretación y dinámica en la utilización de las pedaleras. Me gustaría poder escuchar otro covers.
Talent
dude! Nailed it!!!
Great buddy!!
VEEEEEEEEERY NICE!!! COOOOOOOOL!!! Keeping work man!
Very creative arrangement - great stuff :-)
Excellent
Very nice man
Awesome!
great job!
Such a shame of the low view count on this Jem! Nice one man, love your gritting approach!
for sure but that song lends itself and i bet you thought wow a popular song with a constant root.... i wish patches or the equivalent on the rc300 could switch without a hiccup so that you could jump between chord sets ...no doubt that will come one day but i respect your attitude of embrace the limitations and make them work for you .... what you have done is proof of that and inspiration to me.!!
Check out my other videotutorial on what gear I'm using and how i set it all up :)
There is a link in the caption of this video.

+Per Haar hey if you get a chance I have a question for you, I have a line6 spider jam amp and the boss RC 3 loop station. When I loop something clean toned and then go to overdub a solo, I turn on my distortion of course but then the loop turns to distortion as well and I don't want that. If you get a chance can you help me out please??? Thanks, keep rocking!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸😎😎👌👌
Actually this video is older than the other one ;)
- but thanks a lot my friend!
I don't have any songs of my own that are suiteble for looping, but I'm just about to do a couple of other tracks that I'm gonna upload soon! :)
Cool Stuff!
i have no idea about what the song is, but i loved it! nice.
Very nice
Very cool big time multi tasking .
I here a bit of Richard Marx s in your voice .
Genial ,puro power
really impessive use of the gear, I would love it if you could do a walk through of the loop steps like you did in your other tutoal for RC300 and GR55
I'm very inspired.
well done
rockn' it....
You need to make a recording on disc.I would purchase. Excellent
Hi man... Awesome!!! Didn't see you recording the bass track... Can you reveal the secret? You rock... Again!
my point was, altough i dont know the song i loved it fine by you, with your cover; i mean your good. :) stay in tune buddie!
Nice!
Thanks!
About the band haning on the root. Thats not do to the limitation of looping.
That's how the song goes ;)
GR-55 is a Guitar synthesizer. RC-300 is a loopstation :)
It's a cover of a song called Crazy by the artist Seal :)
I just created a lead tone called "Jam Like Per" on my VG-99! :-)
Wow -- really fantastic. For someone who is new to this, could you explain what you're hearing in your headphones -- is it different than the full mix that we all hear when we are watching the video? Many thanks, Brian.
nice!!!
No problem!
