Every piercing was placed correctly per each individual anatomy. Piercings are anatomy dependent, and some anatomies Will require specific consideration for the individual build to allow for a healthy piercing. With any profession a miscalculation can happen with two party’s involved and they both have movement, it is in the professionals hands to correct that when needed whether it was on the piercers or the clients end and continue with an informed client and a professionally done job with an happy client and a healthy piercing. I am always there for any client or individuals question or concerns about their piercing.
For all those people who are saying the belly peircing is off center, sometimes people have tilted belly buttons so instead of placing the piercing wrt the navel it is aligned to look straight when you stand straight. So even if up close the piercing looks off, it looks better from a distance.
She has the perfect navel crest to be pierced. I’m a piercer with 20 years experience and this guy was not on his A game that’s for sure. Crooked navel. Very hard to achieve if he marked and clamped properly.
Mine is also off center, I didn't notice it at first but you can kinda tell when I'm lying down. I must've moved a bit when he was tracing it but It doesn't bother me since it still looks cool and I love it
The asian guy is that one person in your class who stole their personality from tik tok and they think they are super cool for that when actually they just make everyone around em EXTREMALLY embarrassed
I wouldn’t be embarrassed. Doesn’t affect me he’s embarrassing himself. Besides who am I to judge? You’re no better because you’re hiding behind a screen making fun of someone
As soon as the piercer shook hands I was like he's a real one. I would be terrified to have a piercing cause I have low pain tolerance but the guy has a good handshake, he knows what he is doing and he has this humor and warmth.
Personally, I’d let my future kids get whatever piercings they want at any age. They don’t have to send me some power point or anything. It doesn’t matter to me, as long as they’re happy with the way they’re expressing themselves.
i think that septum is even better than regular nose piercing bc septum goes through the "sweet spot" and doesn't even penetrate the cartilage, so it's a bit safer and less invasive than cartilage piercings! :) and heals faster :)
I've had both earlobes pierced twice (first time didn't know I'm allergic to gold). Then one ear pierced a second time. And a nostril piercing at age 41, because I always thought they looked cool. Never regretted any of them. None of them hurt much, the first ear piercing was bad because they wouldn't heal.
I am a piercing apprentice and i think about this video a lot, particularly the part when he loses the connection and openly admits it, feels bad, and tries again. This profession is really difficult when you are learning and it takes massive balls to admit to someone you messed up right after putting them through (sometimes a lot of) pain. Of course they do not want to go through it again, but Ive found most people are understanding and willing to let you try again if you are just honest and admit your mistake. I hate it when piercers visibly mess up and blame it on the jewelry or the client. There are definitely times when the client or bad jewelry is at fault, like if they move excessively during the piercing or you accidentally put in a defective piece of jewelry, but other times you just didn’t do it perfectly, and it is hard to admit that when theyre already stressed out from being poked. However you will establish trust and respect with them if you can get over the fear of looking inadequate and that’s much more important than looking good.

I have every piercing that was in this video and I loved this piercer bc he admitted his mistake apologized and moved on, also im not surprised the eyebrow bled that much because that's how much mine bled even though none of my other piercings bled at all
I have my septum, nostril, belly button, and ear lobes pierced. The belly button was BY FAR the worst for me. The others stopped hurting within 30 minutes. The belly button was painful even when I was resting for twelve hours and I felt like I couldn't move without pain for days.
Really? I guess I’m the opposite of you. I got my belly button pierced and I didn’t feel anything and I turned the piercer and asked her, “That’s it?” And when she went to pierce my nose, I felt it and it was so uncomfortable but not the worst piercing I had. Definitely cartilage would be, at least for me.
I had my ear lobes pierced twice when I was younger but they always got infected, so they're long gone. The same happened with three different cartilage piercings. Right now, I have my tongue pierced (got it 17 years ago), spider bites and an industrial (both 10 years ago). I'm 40 and love them all still. I'd say the most painful was the industrial, specifically the piercing closer to the top of the ear/head. Plus, it took over a year to heal.

I received my first piercing 29 years ago when I was 16, it was my tongue, by the time I was 19 I had 11 piercings, all in my face, I’m 45 and the only ones I’ve kept have been my septum and both traguses. As a gay man I was always judged for having so many piercings back in the day and I find it funny that so many gay men now have septum piercings which was the one most people gave me shit about.
When I got my nose & lip pierced generally, maybe only in Australia, they use plastic stud & rings, then after it's healed that's when to upgrade to metal piercings.
They typically use surgical steal here which is hard on a lot of us because it's nickel-plated and many people have nickel allergies. It's annoying because they call it hypoallergenic
Definitely not a standard thing (especially in Aus). Every piercing place I've been to, known, and have had friends work at have used Gold, Surgical Steel, or Surgical Titanium.
Feeling bad for the guy with the septum who said it hurt like a pinch. My man the aftercare and healing hurts 30x more than the piercing itself. Good luck!
mine didn't. the initial piercing stung for a minute, but my healing process was virtually painless. there's an incorrect and correct way to pierce a septum.
You're one of the lucky ones then! Yes the piercing itself isn't meant to hurt much if it's in the correct spot, but the healing/aftercare tends to be terrible for a lot of people because of the location and factors like if you need to blow your nose, if you get sick, crusties from the scab that get into the wound if it moves, needing to flip it for work/school/parents, a gentle touch being painful because of the sensitive area, etc etc. It's kind of infamous for being a tricky spot to heal because of so many of these factors, that it often takes 6-8+ months for it to properly heal.
Story time: I got my tongue pierced in 2000. After several years with no problems, I went through a period of extreme stress for a couple years and my tongue eventually swelled too thick to comfortably hold any tongue barbell I could find in a major US city. A few years later, I got it re-pierced. That piercer gave me 50% off because my tongue hadn't healed in the first spot to full thickness, making it an easy job for him to repeat. I have it pierced to this day. (And no dental damage.)
As someone who has pierced countless people, I say if you want to do it, do it. Worse case scenario, (other than the jewelry rejecting or embedding) you don't like it/regret it, you take it out and end up with a few small scars. What's going to happen most of the time, you'll be happy you did it! I got my ears pierced for the first time when I was little, and then again (seconds, first piercing is still there) when I was 19. I had been debating a seconds piercing for months and months, close to a year, and one day, after working a shift training a coworker, I just went 'eh, screw it, *coworkers name* do you wanna do my seconds?' and I'm so glad I did. Granted, even though I want more piercings, specifically cartilage, like a helix or rook, getting my seconds done made me figure out that I suffer from vasovagal syncope, and I nearly fainted after my seconds, and have had multiple episodes since. But yeah, if you want a piercing, think about if you are legitimately going to be able to follow all aftercare, and do it!
I'm surprised there weren't as much screaming and agony in this video. I got my ears pierced using a piercing gun and barely felt a thing and I want to get a piercing in my nose and the ear cartilege but I'm afraid it would hurt so bad because the muscle is really thick in those areas.
