Thanks for the video; I've stayed in a number of these hotels over the past 20 years. I'm hopeful some of these places might be back in operation with a big return to worldwide travel. I also hope the construction/renovation activity in the basement of the Hbf can go relatively quick. Truth told, I miss the Rossmann location there; they were always busy with decent hours, and they were handy for stocking up on last-minute items the night before flying back to the Americas. I really like Döner and Turkish food, but seeing your picks of Indian restaurants has gotten me interested in options 👍
The hotel situation has moved away from the Bahnhof area, down towards the Hauptwache and Konstablerwache areas. Marriott is buying up properties. Intercontinental has been closed for years as has the Hessischer Hof. Villa Kennedy is re-opening. I miss Rossmans too. Always handy to stop in there on the way home from work, 7 days a week. I think the construction will take years.
