I love living across the street from my son in Texas. But I moved from Fort Myers Florida to Texas and now I see all the different things that I could do just with a couple hour drive. I absolutely love your videos. El Caminos is definitely some place I will eat if I'm ever there again.

They have a travel channel and are travel agents. I hope this video brings them new business and a different demographic. I think it was a smart business decision to show a fun, edgy kind of hotel. Not every person who travels wants a family resort.

A streaming tv Is easier than taking my Apple TV wiv me to stream. I love that u’ve worked and had fun. My next trip I’ll have to take my studies wiv me and I don’t want it wreaking the fun. Having chargers everywhere is awesome!!!
Not trying to be a bearer of bad news, but you're overlooking and walking by the New River. The Intercoastal runs parallel to the beach less than a mile in. The entrance to the New River is about a mile north of the 17th Street Bridge on the Intercoastal where it heads west towards downtown Fort Lauderdale were you were off of Las Olas. Having said that ... it's still a beautiful place to be!
I was in Fort Lauderdale about 10 years ago over the weekend, before heading to Miami. Stayed at the Hilton by the airport, but those hotels looked a lot better. And I will definitely have to try that queso. I'm a cheese fanatic and love Mexican food, so that's such a perfect marriage. I'd go into cheese coma, but it would be worth LOL. And am a little surprised at the server outfits at that bar. One thing, you can't be too shy to work there.

Whatever we've stayed in Ft Lauderdale, it's been in a nice hotel recommended by our agent, but it's in the boonies.... Burger King and Chipotle across a busy street, and then a huge mall across another busy street not designed for pedestrians. Scary. The hotel has a great breakfast buffet but now I do IF so don't even need that LOL. Your place looks so much better!

Great video and thanks for showing off South Florida! Just a slight correction for those coming down that actually do want to stay at a hotel with the Intracoastal views. The water you kept showing and referring as the Intracoastal is the "New River". That's the Riverwalk park that you saw from the hotel. Also, the river is not technically a river, but multiple canals. The Intracoastal is further east and just before you hit the ocean.
@@EECCTravels When you're sailing out of Port Everglades, instead of making the turn to the right to sail out the cut into the open ocean, if you continued North under the bridge, or south past the terminals on the outside, you are in the Intracoastal Waterway. Obviously not fit for an Ocean Liner, but you're always witness to a parade of different boats, from the largest yachts to the smallest dinghy's not to mention jet ski's. I always recommend that if you have the time, do take a water taxi tour. It's a great way to live the life of the rich and oh so not so famous. :)

Need to take advantage of all the Cruises while you can. Eating food Jason can be messy. Had to take another Ambulance to the Hospital again. That’s going to cost some coin. I have really enjoyed watching you both living on the Edge and this little slice of heaven before your next cruise with Freedom. Jason died and went to cheese heaven and I am wondering if he actually saw the " Lord Cheesus " during his brief stay? I think he may have made the trip to heaven twice and the first was at your work station by the pool. Looking forward to your next adventure on the Freedom of the Seas. Did the boys sell your house while you were away?

...remember the ship IS heated ...a puffy long coat for the ladies ... and a Balcony cabin is all you need ... as for clothes... no not rule out wearing something twice ... like shoes...shirts and shorts ... your not likely to run into these people again ...

@@EECCTravels I’m confused because others who took back to back cruises had to leave the ship to be tested even though they were on a fully vaccinated cruise. ParoDeeJay and Griff and Alyssa stated it was because they had left the country on their first cruise.
@@saltydog9776 RCCL wasn’t fully vaccinated but allowed fully vaccinated passengers (we had to present a vaccination card to prove time, place, dates, and type of vaccine we got) and then we could get on without any additional testing!

Yeah we were totally calling in the wrong waterway, but we actually thought we were correct. Still a beautiful area.
