2007 suzuki boulevard M109r stock piped being de-baffled, 8 holes were already drilled around the pipe (you'll see in second video) prior to this. this is how to de-baffle the pipes.

I got COBRA pipes for my M109R. The stock pipes were about 45lbs more and the power comander is a must.. Oh BTW there's a slider that will open more exhaust when the gas is twisted more than 1/2. You can just pin that open.

I talked to my Suzuki dealer and a local shop that has customized a few local M109's and they BOTH said that there is a silencer just inside the pipes that can be drilled out, but any deeper than 6-8 inches and you're drilling out the catalytic converter. Who is right?!

One of the caps went inside, couldn’t get it out. Do you think it will be an issue ?

@@BikerMooseFromMars I ended up finding a nice 2 into one full pipe with everything including a sniffer fitting for about 250.00...but you will need a fuel management system too. Shop carefully. 500.00 will get you there,and most will defeat the rev limiter. Dude.. this bike is FAST now and sounds badass!! You will fall in love with your bike all over again...harleys for breakfast,lunch,and dinner!!

How embarassing knowing there are so many awesome pipes available from many manufacturers for the big ol' 109 that sound awesome, look better than those stupid stock ones, and are available for under $600.00
Not only pipes, but other awesome things like blowers, nitrous kits, hyperchargers and so on.
Oh, and let's not forget that an aftermaket efi module is needed due to the change in backpressure and air/fuel flow. !

what benefits did u get out of taking out the baffles?.my buddy did it to his,then put it on a dyno machine,he lost 2 hp,MPG's went down,it was louder & motor got hotter..
