A compellation of train doors opening and closing on the London Underground from my travels over the years. Included in the video are train stock current and past.
Who else thinks the Northern Line should be split into two separate lines once the new Battersea extension is open? I suggest the Edgware, Charing Cross, and Battersea Branches become a new line while the High Barnet, Bank, and Morden branches stay as the Northern Line.
C(69/77) stock also served the Hammersmith and City line, not just the Circle and District lines, however the only District line section it served was the section between Wimbledon and Edgware Road.
Waterloo & City Line Is My favorite Train To Interchange And I Like Takeing The Central And Northern I Stop At top of tooham Court Road Or Kings Cross St. Pancras Or Marble Arch I’m About To Find Out In 2024
S7 is the stock that serves the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines, and S8 is the stock that serves the Metropolitan line.
they sometimes use the S8 for hammersmith and city lines
@Gerry McNally yeah, it's rare but it does happen. Most likely used incase of things like signal failures or overcrowding
“The doors are now opening”. “The doors are now closing”.
8 minutes of london underground tube doors closing nice very cool
The fact that the northern line used to have open door buttons is wild! Now they have indicators to show if doors are opening/closing
live love lundeground
C stock and 1972 stock doors closing always makes me laugh how they all just close at different times 😂
"The train is about to depart, please mind the doors! Doors Closing!"

Good Idea
It definitely should. It would make it less confusing.
@@MrFilTheFish Camden Town also needs major upgrading
It can be named Battersea& City line
What colour ? And what name I’m intrigued
Ooh this is nice. Feel like I just visited.

S stock too
@@SG5999Z everyone knows by now -_-
1:32 i love when it says „Hainault via Newbury Park.”
Probably my favourite voice line on the Central
Yeah it sounds nice
I love London Underground Trains they are better Underground then Aboveground
POV Bakerloo line: *doors closed*
Her: 'Please stand clear of the doors'
When i was in London in first time a guy got his leg stuck on the doors but thank God the driver opened the doors
Most likely it was automatic. The padding thing on the doors make it so if there’s an obstruction, they will open that one door.
Okay
5:06 also Hammersmith and City
what happened to the "this train is about to depart please mind the doors" I haven't heard that in such a long time
The new doors don’t immediately lock and they are better (Motion Sensors) So they don’t need them

I like the 1992 Stock because the windows have the same as the door windows.
I also like the Jubilee Train Stations because of the PSD.
@@alpsthebusincSrry if I'm rude the correction is actually *PED (Platform Edge Door),* Thank You!
5:06 those door chimes are nice
5:57 doors are closed proceeds to say please stand clear of the doors
Doors Closing
Its a 50+ year old train, cut it some slack.

I liked the part where the doors opened and closed

Reupload?
montage
The northern line is almost as the Jubilee line
The motor of the Jubilee Line sounds like the North East Line in Singapore [Btw its C751A]
Doors opening and closing in the unrefurbished and refurbished 1995 Stock (Northern line).
How does the jubilee line line up with the platform screen doors PERFECTLY?
It runs in automatic mode at those stations so the computer uses sensors to line the doors up.
1:26 I Hate Staying At The Platform, Waiting For The Doors To Close
Mind the Gap between the train and the platform
05:09 incorrect also Hammersmith and city line
