When I first came to London in 1996, I bought 1 day travel and jumped on the train from one line to another to familiarised myself on the underground system. btw, I got dizzy at the end of the day😄😄😄

Prob because thes old stations were designed for the stock of the time 100 years? And modern stock is made differently,but also i guess britain imports the trains also,but i'm not sure on that,it's just that our industries have been wrecked.
Well, Baker Street was the first ever London Underground station 🚉 and was probably designed to fit the old stock trains back then but now they’ve been extended and they never extended the station.

I am from London. I like bakerloo, central, circle, district, h&c, jubilee, metropolitan, Northern, piccadilly, Victoria, w&c line, DLR, London overground, and Elizabeth line.
Interesting..so some S stock are equipped with panes of glass sheltering seated riders from the elements beside the doors (District and Hammersmith & City) while some aren't (Circle).

Hey it's Alex from the memberships seminar. Just having a watch of a few of your videos. It is extremely hard to talk on camera especially with people watching perhaps this would add a degree of variety. Also I do love trains but I probably don't know nearly as much as you do. Would be great to see facts even if they pop up like text. For example this train was first commissioned in blah blah and did you know that Baker Street.... perhaps your fans just like watching the journey, so don't take what I say as gospel. To be fair to you you have a really good number subscribers wise!

The thing that disappoints me is that I miss the C Stock, which ran on the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines, as well as the Edgware Road branch on the district line, from 1970 to 2014. The platforms were designed for the length of the trains, and today it's the S Stock taking its throne. The S Stock is actually too long, and I get annoyed about having to move a carriage forward when I ride it. I miss you, C Stock.
I agree. But right now, we are in a crisis. Its not easy to gain money during these hard times, if the Bakerloo ever gets new trains, I highly doubt it will be right now that they will be ordered.
