I'm hoping the government are gonna be smart enough to keep many challenger 2 and upgrade them to at least a 2.5 variant with new optics, fire, command and control systems, new trophy like self protection systems, because it's still the most survivable tank on the market or not as we rarely sell our tanks to anyone now, accept to Oman where re train regularly with the Oman armoured brigades.
A tank is a piece of equipment that should stay in house, a sovereign capability built for ourselves only, make a similar cheaper tank for export, but always keep the highest grade, best equipped, the best of all in everything concerning tank for ourselves.

@Michael Pezzullo that is incredibly ignorant and stupid what you wrote. Polish military has their entire doctrine copied from British and US militaries. They regularly receive training and oversight from British and US troops. They are forever indebted to British military. You clearly know nothing about military and you are once again one of those people that has to include his personal emotions in this matter. Poland's military has never engaged Russian military, they never fought against each other. You are lying and spewing hatred just to spark conflict in the comment section. No sane NATO soldier is wishing a conflict versus Russian military, this is further supported by the fact no NATO regiment is in fact directly involved in battle. You have no idea what this would mean.
@Michael Pezzullo British troops are one of the best trained in the world. It’s also ignorant that you are trying to hate on other countries military, in order to show the power of your own country. Everyone is in the current world situation together

Trooper Martin has my utmost respect as a woman to be a Tank Driver! Also, look at the posture and language Royal Hussars are using in this video - no bravado, no personal remarks, no hatred. I see confidence, respect, discipline and strenght. This is a regiment British people should be very proud of. In this day and age of media hype, lot of people are forgetting war is always difficult and terrible for all sides involved. These soldiers are very aware of the terror the war brings. Let us hope their skills will never have to be tested on the battlefield and Europe finds peace once again. We can achieve so much more if we work together rather than against each other.

@@tohrin330 As would any driver, you either push back enemies with the help of the buddy tank and other friendly elements directly with the tank or nearby, they wouldn’t necessarily have to push them back either just provide protection. Every tank crew has half tanker and half mechanic skillsets so issues such as roadwheel replacement, track repairs can be done by themselves while they are watched. Any further issues and REME can be called to help tow the tanks back for repair or repair on the spot with the use of their extensive equipment onboard their vehicles as well as any spares carried by them.
Tanker Martin herself’s a farmer, I’ve no doubt she’s fixed a heavy tractor or farming equipment in her time, Tank’s just slightly heavier and to be frank, a bit more easier as repairs are made less complicated than the nonsense tractor companies make you do to repair so that you instead bring the tractor to their centres for repair and charge you exorbitant amounts.
I took part in this exercise on the "enemy" team as a Leopard 2A6 driver, lovely bunch of people the QRH :)

There are two things the hussars had: light calvary horses 🐴 and tanks.

Then join the Queen's Royal Hussars. Give them YOUR best and they will give you THEIR best. My husband was in the Queen's Royal Irish Hussars (They amalgamated with the Queen's Own Hussars to form the Queen's Royal Hussars). You won't get better anywhere. They are a family regiment and ALWAYS take care of their own, even 'grumpy' old veterans. Best wishes to you.

the best of the best country the realistic democracy 👏 the stro gest army who does the most for the other nations to not mention what they did for France and for the Germans but they are little bit fairly than French i am talking all throughout the history and a lot of the 🌎 world army leaders train maintain all the best soldiers in the world in British army universities so hat down for you british army and country and people.

@@AzGamerAlan Err.... NO. It works on a rotation/ selection basis.
Our army is 3 times the size of Swedens yet our population is 7 times as large.... We need to increase our numbers. The problem I guess is, do we have a Country and society worth dying for? A lot of people think not.
its not a case of population size, its a case of people wanting to join. Britains problem is we are so disjointed from the rest of europe as an island. We dont have such an iminent fear of invasion like mainland Europe. Thats why the swedes and fins have more numbers. Becuase they are closer to russia and in more immediate danger of russian europeans invasion. During World war 2 we survived becuase we was an island. This will always be the biggest key factor to our low numbers. We are an island nation a navy nation, its why the Royal Navy is the oldest Naval force in the world.

@@BritishFreedom the British army cant defend Britain even Poland has a larger army with enough power they could take over Britain and Ireland within 2 weeks. Poland will 300,000 Soldiers by the end of the decade and a Military equipped with All American firepower its expected to be Europes strongest military by 2030. Russia is currently Europes strongest army and second in the world. America can take over all of Europe if it wants to.
It is always nice that the Finnish army can train with other friendly countries. By practicing together, we can learn a lot from each other. This will strengthen European defense in such difficult times

On side note. Four British soldiers were arrested in North Macedonia on 23 of May for stealing Taxi and crushing it afterwards. On 20th of May group of three soldiers, also British, were arrested for bar fight. Disgrace!
Weird that out of 70k troops, some seem to be used more regularly in promotional videos than others. You never see the downgraded fat admin bloke on rear party duties. Same as the tidy Russian chick, they roll her out at every opportunity. Not sure if it's to get more guys or girls into the forces though 😂
I Love How one of them is wearing lipstick and cam cream at the same time 😂 and another one wearing a tactical black and white scarf the army has gone PC mental only people who are forced to be professional now is straight non-religious man everybody else can do what you want and get special treatment

Shoes how desperate for recruits the British army is.
All armies are currently desperate for recruits everywhere in the Western world. Nobody wants to serve misguided self-serving politicians. True soldiers want to serve their country, their families, the values. Therefore, people are reluctant to join everywhere in the world, because they see the actions of the politicians and do not trust them. This is a problem of our modern era and it will be even worse as our society and economy spirals downward in the coming years.

Hussars by definition are light Calvary. Tanks are modern day heavy calvary. Light calvary screen forces, recon, skirmish etc. heavy calvary are do shock calvary tactics. Just the shire stupidity when comes to organisation in British military just a series of patch ups over time no actual thought. In British army have heavy calvary regiments doing modern day light calvary work and light calvary doing modern day heavy calvary work. Same with infantry as well just a complete mess the British army is
