Change the wheels on the blue truck, I would do black wheels. Change the tail lights in the blue truck. Change towe mirrors on blue truck to fourth gen towe mirrors. Maybe even put a goose next hitch on it. Make it the next give away truck
Pretty sure 97 they started making 12vs with a short box option. Not the 1st one I've seen. There were also trucks built after 98 that didn't have swing open back doors.
1998.5 was when the four door 12 valve trucks were available. So the late 98 trucks with the 12 valve, four doors and newer interior are considered holy grail trucks.

I have a 98 12 valve without the back doors. Early 98 were the 12 valves and then 98.5 they switched to the 24 valve with the back doors.

They made hard cabs to in 97. It has a 97 interior. It's the last year before dodge started making the newer style from 98-01
