I'm posting a review soon but as of right now I feel yes it's the closest thing you will get to having a handheld be comfortable and feel like your using a standard controller.
Have you tried it out yet? I am on the same boat-I play smash competitively but I also prefer handheld with this type of grip (Satisfye).... I am currently playing smash online with the 3DS so it can’t be any worse than that. 😅
No I don't. I plan on picking it up though. I have the skull and co for the OG switch and felt it was ok, but not a big difference like the satisfye grip lite has been
@@gaminggroundz792 would you also say that a main difference between the Satisfye grip & the Skull & Co grip is that you can actually stand up the Switch/lite with the Satisfye grip and you get extra thumb grips instead of getting interchangeable handle grips with the Skull & Co grips
I was able to try a few fighting games and some platformers. I really like the dpad especially with the grip. I usually still use the analog stick because of how small the dpad is.
@@gaminggroundz792 thanks for the response, I guess it's better to have the grip then lol. Yeah the D Pad is tiny, I was surprised...but I managed to get used to it somehow.
No not at all. The red rubber grips that they added for this model and the pro model for the OG switch prevent that from happening, Which was a complaint for the very first model they released.
I got a lite, and my switch sat in its dock for days. Because the lite is so much better for me. I plan on selling my old switch
Is it worth it to buy? Also I'm thinking of getting a switch lite. Can I play super smash Bros competitively with the switch grip lite.

Also is it good for a game like smash. I wanna be kinda competitive with my friends
I would say if you like playing smash handheld this will make your experience easier, but I would always recommend playing smash docked
You should get a controller for smash. Either power a GameCube controller, power a wireless, or pro controller

Does it hurt ur hands playing for awhile?
For me it did. It's better then not having it, but after awhile I did start to cramp
How does 2k feel with this grip? Is it worth it?
Do you have a skull and co grip for the lite too? if so which do you think is better?

Satisfye makes a case for it
How is it with games like mk11? I only use the d pad so I'm hoping this will be an improvement

Does the grips scratch or damage the switch lite?

Does it add too much extra weight?
I don't think so. Outside of the handles you barely notice it's there. I have a 7 year old has no issues playing with it for hours.
