Thank you for posting this. Fond, exciting, memories of 2017, when we used Skinkansen all the way down to Kagoshima. What a holiday. What I did notice is that Shinkansen seem to 'leap-frog' one another: each station has four tracks; and while you are stationary, another train whizzes past. It stops at the next station: whilst you whizz past. This enables the Japanese to run twice as many, fast, efficient, trains, compared with the UK, when some CrossCountry services seem to stop at every station.
The Tokaido Shinkansen was previously the maximum speed of 270 km, but it has been raised to the maximum speed of 285 km in the last 3 years. About 3 hours and 10 minutes between Tokyo and Shin Osaka was shortened to about 2 hours and 20 minutes. I think whether it can be said that Japanese technology and progress are still good.
That's one hell of a jump you made in the last three videos! From Tierra Del Fuego>Houston>Tokyo...someone's been checking off their bucket list big time this last month!
From 1:57:00 on it gets snowy. One thing I don't understand: How can the Shinkansen be always on time if the train has to drive slower when it's snowing?
the schedule already covers those delays (for example if the train usually take 10 minutes they will + a bit of extra time like 2 minutes to account for uncontrollable things like weather) that’s why sometimes trains arrive before schedule but they still have to leave on schedule
I rode this train from Tokyo to Kyoto in my Japan Vacation Jun.25.2019 10:00am tokyo 12:17 pm Kyoto for 13710 yen Reserved Seat on the RIght side, Love this Video :D
no jr pass is not valid in nozomi at all. u can use hikari and kodama trains

@@markusbienek320 Do not worry! Nozomi stops at only major cities like Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto before arriving at Osaka. Hikari stops at more stations and Kodama stops at everystation. The difference is only the number of stations to stop. No difference in the speed itself.

Every train in Japan is like a work of art. So clean, and so beautiful.

It was just transit at Houston. I have some video stocks of Japanese train around the time of South American trip, and will upload them.
Japan Train Viewing was your South America trip good?
Japan Train Viewing by the way your video is good I wish I could take the Shinkansen one day is it expansive?
If US Acela didn’t share the same lane with regular Amtrak and others, this probably would be its true power!
Thank you very much
Play video at 1.75 speed and that’s about the speed of the Chuo Shinkansen.
新幹線、特に新大阪を旅するのに勝るものはありません 🚅🚅🚅😘😘😘🗼🗼🗼
