I know that El's mother is alive and physically exists in our universe, but she's practically vegetative. I think the Demagorgon is the physical embodiment of El's mother's consciousness in the other dimension, hungry and alone, hence its connection to El and vendetta against Hawkins.

I think I can explain the reason why the demogorgon goes for wills mom instead of him. It must be a hypervore meaning that when it sees food, all it can think of is eat eat eat. It’s never full and all little bit of food is a life source so if you see a smaller pizza slice next to the bigger one, you’ll go for the bigger one cause it will sustain your hunger better.
I was super bumbed out when its revealed in season 2 that creatures are all linked to the mindflayer. I hate the idea of evil being tied to a single entity so when its defeated its happily ever after, then season 3 had that beautiful moment at the end where the russians feed that guy to a demogorgon thats alive and well even after the gates been closed. Words could not describe my joy. I love the idea of more mysteries and threats rather than the one big bad guy. Something about knowing theres other powerful creatures around causing havoc is comforting.

new information has come out that supports the demogorgon being immune to gunfire even in the upside-down in case anyone wanted to know or thought it might be weaker in it's home dimension for some reason. the source is the new DLC for farcry 6, where you travel to the upside down and the demogorgon chases you and is immune to damage.

I still believe it's a demogorgon. 1. The claw on the other hand is obscured by darkness. 2. The face was probably an error 3. Head is way too big to be Vecna 4. It's back legs are the same shape as the Demogorgon 5. It has the EXACT same body shape as the demogorgon 6. It probably wasn't telekinetically, because the demogorgon could have been crawling on the SIDE of the shed and outstretched its claw to open the door. The only thing that I can't explain is the clock sound.
1:18 fun-theory alot of people suspect about this scene, is it isn't actually a demogorgon, but instead the new season five antagonist being controlled by the "MF" since it's a different form and you also hear the sound of clocks just like whenever that creepy fu-- appears and are the associated sound cue for when it's near or it does/did something. It could just be the Demogorgon but it's fun to theorize.

In season one, I feel like he was gathering information on the real world for the mind flayer because in season 2, it sends an army of Demogorgons. Technecally demodogs. It was still a mindless monster in season one, the mindflayer was just using all of it's power to control this one. It was probably the only demogorgon at that point until will vomits out a little slug boy.

Were the Demodogs not younger versions of the Demogorgon? So I don't think that it is an Upside down version of 11 but like you said a bit later in the video, they do mirror each other showing how 11 feels about herself. Although the Demogorgon can probably track 11 because she touched it and they became connected.
