I started using this video six weeks ago. After three weeks, I started to see changes in the tone of my arms. After six weeks, my arms look really good. I think in another three weeks, my arms will be as toned as they are going to get. I used 3 pound weights and I did the exercises on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. My routine was 18 repetitions, 15 repetitions, and 12 repetitions with a two minute break in between the sets. I did the routine as soon as I woke up. I like the results!!!! The only thing I would recommend would be that after you do the exercises you do some stretches so the muscles will become longer. Also I did a three minute warm-up for my arms and shoulders and back before I did any sets to avoid stress or injury of the muscle groups. Keep going and don't give up. Good luck!
Kamil Rafuson I do each exercise 18x - for example, arm circles forward 18x, arm circles backwards 18x, etc. Do each exercise 18x. That is one set. You repeat all the exercises 15x for the next set and then 12x for the last set. Note: I’m still doing the exercises and my arms look very toned. I could not be more pleased. I love to wear sleeveless tops.

I have just come across this You Tube video. I have recently bought some 1kg hand weights, initially in the hope of helping to tone up the flabby underarms after losing weight. I have had an ongoing stiffness in shoulders as a result of having had a frozen shoulder in the past. I actually found this helped to loosen up my shoulders as well.......the first few goes felt a bit restricted but after a few it became easier.
I love this video. I'm getting old enough to have the arm flab but can't do the harsher push ups etc. This works great and isn't too hard for me. No I didn't get muscles. My arms are toning up. Just stay with it.

I agree. It’s annoying to stop and start between exercises. If you read the comments Live Strong, record another video with the whole sets of reps please.
So I just did this routine today x3 like she said and boy my arms hurt. I am sweating and it took maybe 10 minutes. I did this on my lunch break at work. Looks like a new routine.
Thank you for posting these suggestions to improve muscle tone in the arms. It would be helpful if you also included the stretches you recommend to help develop long, lean muscles instead of compressed, bulky-looking muscle. Or is this just a matter of genetics?

I do pushups. However, I have found that while pushups do great for my top of my arms, they don't for the bottom of my arms. I have huge muscles on the top, but a tiny bit of flab on the bottom of my arms. I will add this to my exercise regimen. Thank you.😊
Amber - I wish you would go through the repititions with us so we don't have to keep stopping and starting the video. That surely cannot be good for keeping the routine going. This is what all the other fitness videos do!

I find this video interesting and just purchased two 1 kg burbles for my wife to use while doing these exercises. Will be back in some months time to report progress or not!
What is wrong with you women not wanting to gain muscle? Muscle is what actually prevents you from having flabby arms and it helps you to be healthier and burn more calories! You're never ever going to get bulky by just doing these exercices, it can only help you tone your muscles if you lose any excess weight you might have.

I just started this today and it was great. I really felt the whole burn throughout my upper arms. I was going to enter it into my calorie counter, however, I couldn't find this exercise anywhere. So I would like to know how any calories I burn doing this? Or if there's a specific name for it...? Oh and for the weights I use 3 pound dumbbells. Thanks for the video!

What if LOUD POPPING sounds are heard when performing ANY exercise which requires LIFTING the arms? Using the three pound weights caused me to TEAR MY ROTATOR CUFFS. I experience EXTREME PAIN when trying to use the three pound weights for ANY of these.
yes i plan on breast feeding. we produce food for our babies for a reason plus its free so why not! lol i also heard it does indeed help to lose weight so that was one of the selling points of breast feeding for me. but wow about 20lbs just from breast feeding? that's awesome.

I started using this video six weeks ago. After three weeks, I started to see changes in the tone of my arms. After six weeks, my arms look really good. I think in another three weeks, my arms will be as toned as they are going to get.
