Good Gawd, Adam is drop dead GORGEOUS! This is the original Live Aid playlist, and Adam performs it flawlessly, ever aware of the audience and the cause. One of their absolute best performances, by far.
I am a person who never really likes new singers with iconic bands but adam has a great voice and it just never feels like hes stepping on toes very respectful way for them to move on , amazing vocals i think Freddy would have loved Adam , because of artists like freddy A guy like adam can be himself proudly .
Thank God Brian and Roger had the brains to ask Adam to play with them as part of Queen. It means we, the fans, get to hear Queen for more years to come! I love that Adam never tried to be Freddie or imitate him... The belief in himself that he didn't need to, is a rare thing. Adam is a fantastic singer and performer. The is only ONE Freddie... but Adam does him justice ❤
I can actually picture this! Good observation! I reckon Freddie and George have sung a few concerts together in Heaven, or where ever it is when you pass on :)
Whether it be with the late Freddy Mercury and/or current frontman, Adam Lambert, out front on vocals, this band will live on forever. 10 out of 10 for great tunes👍👍👍👍.
Absolutely brilliant show for this event - Thank you Adam! 😘 Thank you Roger! (and son) 😘 Thank you Brian! 😘 I just love Brian's patched Jeans 😊 Yep I'm re-watching this in May 2022
I WISH Rufus was still with the touring band. Apparently he's full-time with The Darkness right now. The supporting band according to Wikipedia are Neil Fairclough on bass, Tyler Warren on percussion, and (of course) Spike Edney on the keys. (Rufus was with Queen at the Taylor Hawkins tribute though.)
Don’t forget about John Deacon, too. Don’t you think Deacon should’ve stayed in the band too? I mean, I understand his reasons for leaving the band, with Freddie’s passing and everything, but I still think it would’ve been nice to see him still play in the band. Anyone else agree?
Can't believe this was over 2 years ago, that crowd just loved QAL especially Adam, and they are all getting better. They have just completed their very successful Rhapsody Tour in the UK and Europe, so here's hoping they will tour again (I think they will) Thanks for posting Barry.

This will be like Queen Live Aid 1985. They stole the show and even better they recreated the Live Aid performance. Freddie said: ‘You can do what you want with my music, but don’t make me boring’. Adam Lambert is not Freddie, nor is he trying to be Freddie. He didn’t need to be Freddie 2.0 to be fantastic. Lovethe Ay-ohs from Freddie, he still has the crowd in the palm of his hand, even if he’s not physically on stage. 8:59 makes me laugh though (F**k you)
John Farnham gave an awesome performance at this concert too. Being 70 years old at the time and while he has slowed down a bit his voice is still there! It was also Olivia Newton John's last ever public performance too. Wonderful that you were there in person and got to be a part of it all!
Unfortunately I had left before he and Olivia came came on stage had to get home didn’t stay till the end but saw Olivia Newton John on the balcony waving to us all was a great day
Yeah I often wonder about him. Knowing that Freddie's death affected him that much, he couldn't play without him. I know he is still a part of Queen in some of their business making decisions, but what ever he is doing, I hope he is in good health and is happy.
I was watching this live and I was wondering why this set list arrangement sounded so familiar…I admit I am one of those people who got into Queen through the Bohemian Rhapsody movie and thus Adam. This will always be one of my favourite performances ever. I come back and watch this… it feels only yesterday and it is currently the end of 2022.
When they set up the lineup for the first +Adam Lambert tour they had Roger's son Rufus adding additional percussion and vocals, and I assume that they had all the arrangements set up for that configuration of a band.

I was about 5 people from the stage during this set and it was definitely the best live show I’ve ever watched
Queen Live Aid 1985 was from another world... And then, in 2019, they did it again 🎸💥
2020*
Adam Lambert is the only human on Earth who comes even close to replicating Freddy
Lambert himself said he never intended to replace Freddy, that’s why he does his own singing style while on collab with Queen
@@Shinyboy29 I said replicate not replace :)
Freddie* ❤😅
Agreed does Freddy justice for sure.
@@Shinyboy29he does it respectfully
One of Adam's best performances and he looks AMAZING 🔥
They couldnt have picked a better front man 😍
If Freddie and George Michael had a child, it would be Adam Lambert….
Dude wtf thts so accurate
😀👍

Despite what they're trying to teach in schools these days that wouldn't actually be possible.

So true. Great band.
8:58 most aussie thing ever. Love u freddie, even dead he can still connect with a crowd! The best singer ever

My daughter was at the Queen concert in this stadium the night before this. She claims this was the better performance by far!

They just started in the same chords they ended in live aid 1985
"Live Aid Recreated"
Freedie must be happy above
ngl being in this concert was one of the greatest nights of my life.
Even when Freddie Mercury is dead, Queen's legacy will still go on.
Lambert really does carry his spirit on while doing his own thing and makes it work
@@pingusthyroidproblem701 and then the tribute bands will carry it on

The kid sounds great 👍, R.I.P. Freddy Mercury, we will all miss u ❤
They didn't have to do anything but they did and that's something Freddie would've loved. Helping people who lost everything.
Exactly. And I would bet that, had Freddie been alive, he would've jumped at the chance to help.
So glad I was there for this piece of magic best part of my 2020

Australia’s answer to Live Aid it got me through the pandemic I thought I was so lucky to be there and get to be a part of this amazing event
Live Aid set list. Brilliant 👍
That was insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥
They turned the amps all the way up 🤟 like live aid
Adam fits Queen like a glove.
Australia thanks all of these artists for their input for this concert.
The guy at 24:30 could almost be Freddy.
This is live music at its best 👌
FANTASTIC!!!👏👏👏💪💪♥️
It was awesome to be there live the sound reverberated through you!
God Adam is stunning.
Thanks heaps for posting this - I’ve been searching everywhere for this!
Brilliant as always
Great set!
Live aid set)
The Masters
He repeat even this solo from live aid wow 3:25
Great
Thanks 😊
Imagine if John Deacon came back for this 😮

queen stealing the show again
The crowd rather missed the point of the entire exercise by yelling, "One more song!" at the end

Yes, I think most people missed the fact this was the Live Aid set Queen did back in '85!
Well, it seems that they did it again. Can it get better then this? I don't think so...
😍😍
What should we call this? Live Aid in the 21st century or Live Aid 2.0?
All i could think of is "how would you go to the toilet if you needed to"? 🤣
😍😍😍👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Is it Neil on bass?
Yes
Anyone know why there is a second drummer?
He’s a precussionist

@@cypher515it’s actually Tyler Warren on percussion this time. Rufus stopped playing with Q+AL in 2017
@@trentoninnewjersey I knew that but I forgot when the change happened, thanks.
No one going to mention the random guy laying on the drum stage?
