@@TokyoLensExploreFunnily enough i learned things about myself i never realized. funny how it feels like my eyes have been opened to aspects of myself i never noticed before, but were always there. I also learned some great Japanese this year. Every time i add new words or phrases im so happy. 🌸 Heather 🌸
My fav bit was hearing about your childhood going to airfield shows. I take my children and enjoy them. hopefully they will have happy childhood memories like you

I am going to call this a Tokyo Tuesday video. I miss those. I remember going to the races with my uncle and cousins growing up, good times
The way those cars sound is otherworldly. I appreciate this look into the culture! I enjoyed seeing how invested that crowd was!
As I said during the live stream, My favorite part of race day, be it a regional SCCA AutoCross to an INDYCAR event, is the energy and atmosphere around the site in the morning before the cars start making there way on to the track. It's just electric to me. Glad you had a good time and thanks for taking us along.
A friend of mine shared your video with me because I'm a big motorsports fan. I've only seen a few Formula E races on tv before, but watching this has really sparked my interest in it! Definitely going to follow Formula E closer now! This is also super motivating for me to get out and finally see a race in person one day! Love the atmosphere on and around the track, and I imagine it's vastly superior than just watching a race on TV. I doubt I'll ever have access to a race like what you got here, but just being around the track in person for any major event is on my bucket list now!

Bravo Norm! I had similar access at Indy several times but Formula E seems way more exciting.
Indy Cars sound like tie-fighters because they were one of the sounds sampled to make the tie-fighter sound. I think they also used some sounds of piano wire being stropped to layer over it.
Hope you had fun Norm. I just finished watching the Solar Eclipse in Toronto.
Haven't ever attended a race live, but the excitement is real and tangible. Some of those track turns were insane. Thanks for the BTS and have a great week. 💜✌️🐦

15:15 Race Director is the head of the Formula-e's sporting staff. For example if there is an accident, he's the one who issues a red flag or safety car

This looked so cool! I used to go to see lots of car and super bike races with my parents when I was young. The only formula racing I saw was formula 4, a pop star I was madly in love with was in one of the races so it was super exciting, and I got to sit in one of the cars for a photo. You really captured the atmosphere and excitement here 💜
This was amazing. The excitement was palpable and kept the video entertaining, in addition to, of course, all the cool stuff! I didn't even realize this was an explore channel video first lol.

There is a new anime called Overtake about an enthusiastic camera man new to racing ,learning everything about it and helping his new friends on the racing track and races. Which reminded me a lot when i saw your video.

Very cool video! I have not even heard of Formula E before this; now I feel like I know so much! My partner is really into F1 racing so maybe I can get him into Formula E with this BTS video. 😊
The electric motor on these Formula e cars is something I've never heard before...really unique sound.
Sounds as sweaty as dogfight in the skies, where the main tactic is wear down the opponent and looking for openings of attack to come out on top.

The. whir of the cars lacks the pizzaz of that traditional roar. Sound kinda like slot car racing.
