We have a few places in my area that have self-checkout stands and I'm not a big fan of them, either. If you only have a few items it's OK but, for large purchases, I'd rather have a cashier check and bag my stuff.
Ah, the cashiers don't bag our shopping in the UK, you have better service in the USA! Now it will be worse with self check-outs, they just look at us not even helping unless an item doesn't scan properly. It makes me even more stubborn to NOT use self check-outs! Thank you for listening to the video and to what l wanted to express. l don't know where you live but do you have a lot of fast-food places who don't employ people anymore due to minimum wage going up stupidly which means employers can't afford to employ real people but will use machines instead? ah this world! what a challenging, exciting time we live in!
@@Cleaning-de-la-maison-hb2mk We do have an Aldi grocery store that lets you bag your own stuff, but they do have cashiers that scan your groceries before you do. I don't mind that too much since you are prepared for it once you go in. But, a lot of stores like our Dollar General, Walmart, Kroger, etc. have more self-checkouts than cashiers. If you have an item or two it isn't a big deal, but it can be if you have a lot to buy. Concerning fast food, there's some people who don't stay there long. I have noticed prices increasing at certain fast food places like Taco Bell. It costs just as much to buy real Mexican food from Mexican restaurants nowadays rather than from Taco Bell.
Do you not have local farmers markets where you live, where you can buy real produce from real people who grow themselves, to support the local community industry before Bill Gates forbids everyone to grow any food? The places you have to shop sound pretty awful, l haven't seen a Tacobell but l wouldn't go in there even if there was one here, it sounds awful, just the name of it. Best to support local Mexican restaurants with real people... at least it is authentic, or more authentic. l find Mexican food a bit too spicy personally, but much enjoyed Brazillian food when l have had it, there are such restaurants in London who do Brazillian, great choice and not too spicy. Lovely meats and bread, and things like casava.
l enjoy the clean, clear space afterwards, the taking no effort with a broom and dustpan, being able to clean carpets so well without making so much dust, and it vacuuming all sorts of items l wouldn't have thought possible!
