@@1400ninja thank you, l am amazed you watched the whole video! We got a bit wet in the end but I still carried on, it is a wonderful job.
Unfortunately it rained all night so l will check today if it is still on the trees, hopefully extra clay will have stopped the water making it run off.
Caressing trees is most wonderful,I do recommend you tried it. They all seem to say different things, different personality, like animals and humans

@@1400ninja l didn't stand in the rain to clean afterwards, but just because l wanted to finish the paste, and ended up quite wet but still as dirty!!
l hope you get to try it, but you have to get the right ingredients, unless you do just a dry massage to the trees

@@rhodsullivan7773 This has worked on most trees, but because we had 6 months of chronic rain last winter, they didn't show as much improvement (I noticed because l moved one small cherry tree and had to put it somewhere wetter than where it was and it showed fungus in the spring and as the rain carried on and the ground was permanently boggy, it died despite all the care).
But the trees that were established and had a good root system and were not disturbed by mice underground tunnels showed all a great improvement in the vibrancy of the leaves, they have less sickness than last year, the best example being the small apple tree that was really bad last year, there is hardly any disease on it this year.
The very sick pear trees at the beginning of the video aren't showing much improvement but they were bad in the first place so it would take a few years of doing this, I think, before showing improvement, l think there is something wrong with the soil where they have been planted as the other pear tree in the main lawn area has improved greatly, huge amount of pears and greener leaves.
The plum trees which hasn't produced much at all since 3 years both had a good yield, even though one of them did have a lot of mould on the plums which shows it still isn't very healthy.
I wish I knew more about trees to understand why the cherry trees are so damaged on the trunk.

@@Cleaning-de-la-maison-hb2mk growing healthy trees is not easy. The very wet summer following the very wet winter puts a stain on them Extremes if temperature can cause bark to split but mostly the trees will self repair. Pollenation is crucial of course in getting a healthy crop. Our pear tree has struggled to produce fruit for the last three years. We have sedum planted to attract pollenators but of course flower too late. It has been a rotten summer in Wales. Farmers struggling to get silage, hay and crops harvested. I hope your trees will do well with the love and care you are giving them. 😍

@@rhodsullivan7773 Thank you for the news in Wales, it has been a difficult summer but fortunately we had some sun at the end of july and parts of August.
The poles of the earth are shifting so it is said that we are going to have a cooling and the oceans are already cooling and alarming experts.
However, if the trees are healthier, the crops will maybe come back. Is your pear tree healthy looking and the issue is just the lack of pollenation? l don't suppose you could spend half a day pollenating by hand when it is in flower?
l do recommend this tree salve though, seeing this pear tree this year. l am the other side of hte Welsh border so it is very wet here too. But it seems less rainy than in Shrewsbury or shropshire, generally!

@@Cleaning-de-la-maison-hb2mk Lovely to hear from you. The weather here in West Wales is usually mild but very wet. The pear tree which is only small has ten pears which is better than previous years. I just hope they will ripen when picked. I know Shrewsbury very well and when a young lad went to boarding school in Oswestry. You have had more sunshine than us. I will try the salve. I will try sleep manure as the farm next door doesn't have cattle any more. 😀

@@rhodsullivan7773 West Wales is beautiful. l don't know Owestry, but any boarding school sounds challenging, l hope you can remember some good memories from there. l went to boarding shchool in France and even if it was unpleasant, it was a relief to be away from certain people at home! So not so bad in a way.
If you use sheep dung, l would suggest you would have to mix it with plenty of water to make it like a cow manure consistency, so you can then add the clay to bind it, sand and zeolite which you can buy cheap zeolite clinoptilolite on Ebay for garden lawns, genuine, for about £30 for 25kg. But it will be as coarse as builders sand, even a bit more.
l don't suppose there are many cows in Wales.
