Good vid. Here's some suggestions - #1. Add a hook to the bottom of the central part of the tripod and hang your bag from it. This helps avoid the tripod being blown over (it really does happen), leaves a smaller 'footprint' and also stops your bag from being stolen, if doing streetscenes! Hang a plastic bag filled with stones from the hook for even more tripod stability. #2. For acrylic work, add D rings to sketch easel (or small pochade box, as I use) to hang your water container on a cord from, as far more vigorous 'wiggling' of the brush is needed with acrylics to clean it and you'll splash your palette, etc. otherwise.
That looks very practical. I have such a tripod lying around, and am dreaming about taking my watercolors to plein air, hmmm... I'l check out that how to vid!
I have made one very similar to this based on Will's other how to video and for which I am hugely grateful. It brings me great joy and it's also perfect for indoors so I can keep wet media away from the computers and gubbins I use for my day job. Thanks Will!
Brilliant!
